I went back to school Wednesday, and today's Friday. Tonight is the last game of the football season and I'm going. Jay is playing and I have never missed one of his games. My parents don't want me to go, but I'm going anyway. They are on call again and it's not like they can make me stay home when they are at work. The only reason they don't want me to go is that they think I am sick after the incident last Friday. Jay and I are the only ones who know that I'm fine.

After school I told Jay good luck and went home to get ready. It looks like it will rain again. It has rained every day since I turned except for the day that Jay climbed through my bedroom window to come visit me. I still can't believe he did that. I've told him so many times that I hate it when he comes through my window, but we wouldn't be this close now if he didn't. So I'm now very happy that he did.

I parked my Green KIA Soul that I got for my sixteenth birthday in the driveway, and went through the 3 car garage into the huge modern kitchen. I went straight across the kitchen and up the stairs. Once I got up the stairs I went to my right, passed the loft, another flight of stairs, and I went to the room that was on the right. The room I have always lived in. The room that is across from the office, and a bathroom. It has been painted so many colors and now it's my favorite; light green. The room that has its own bathroom on the left, and has a tree right outside the window that is perfect for climbing; which is straight ahead. It has a queen size bed in it on a wall about 5 feet away from the window ,  a laptop on-top of the desk to the left of my bed, a huge walk in closet with a dresser in side, and it’s  also on the left of my bed. There is a wall full of my favorite things and a 32 inch HD T.V. that is across from my bed. I have everything that I could ever want, and it wouldn't even be all mine if I had another life. This is not the life I would have had if my birth parents kept me!

I had to put all my thoughts that I had about the life I could have had into the back of my mind. Tonight was Jay's night to shine. I know he can see right through me, and knows if there is something wrong, or bothering me. So, I had to let everything go for just one night!

I put on the outfit that I always wear when there is a home game. My homemade Oak High School Hawks  t-shirt that says "Go Oak Hawks" and "Go 26 Go" (number twenty six is Jay's number). Then I put on my shorts that said "Go OHS Hawks". Even though it is freezing cold and raining I still wear the shorts to show my pride for my school, but mostly for Jay.  After I finished getting dressed I reapplied the little makeup that I use, which consists of a little mascara, a slight amount of eyeliner, some cover-up, and a touch of lip gloss. Once I was finished I went from my bathroom back to my room and started to leave when I remembered to get my Hawks blanket. So, I motioned for my Hawks blanket to come into my arms. It raised and came over to me, and I took it. I  Then went down the stairs to the garage, and then to my car. I got in and started heading back to my school.

When I got there I met up with Macy and Sara, two of my friends. Macy has brown hair, green eyes, and is tall. Sara is a blond, has blue eyes, and is a little shorter than Macy. They both are smart and are very outgoing. We all became friends only a year ago when I had a class with them freshman year. Macy and Sara both have been best friends for almost as long as Jay and I have been best friends. We went to our regular spot, and began talking about their boy troubles while waiting for the JV game to finish.

I am getting ready to go out and play. I always get nervous before going out on the field. Tonight is also the last game of the season, so there's even more pressure than usual. I finished putting on my uniform, and sat on the bench to wait until the JV game is over.

Coach walked in and said, "Everyone the JV game's over! Let's go!"

We all walked out of the locker room and started walking toward the stadium. Coach stopped us and gave us a speech. The speech is about how it doesn't matter what will happen out on that field tonight, and how he will be proud of us no matter what the score is in the end.
