A/n: to the small audience reading this as I update. Yes the name has changed to Jiyeon, but I made the name to make it easier for an actual character. (It's still in your point of view tho)

JIYEON

Although Jimin had confessed to me, I felt nothing towards him. Moreover, he acted as if nothing had happened. He still gave me the same work load, the same pretentious laugh, and still would hide his obsession with calico cats.

While eating my lunch, Jimin walks over with a few of our co-workers in similar fields and sits down on the table.

"Good news guys!" Jimin exclaims.

"What is it now?" I ask uninterested.

"We're going on a retreat for team building!" He exclaims with pure childishness in his eyes.

It was they day we leave for the retreat, and my lazy ass was not even remotely prepared.

My phone rings.

"Yes, hello?" I ask.

"Ah, hello Ms. Jiyeon-ssi, I'm picking you up. The drive is about 2 hours away so just be prepared in about 10 minutes or so."

"Oh okay then." I reply over the phone.

Soon enough Jimin parked into the driveway and picked me up.

The car ride was quiet and awkward. Randomly either he or I would cough, and there was no exchanging of words either.

"So Jimin...How has your day been?" I say trying to get rid of the awkward aura.

"Uh it's been good I guess."

He opens his mouth, as if he was going to say something.

"Where exactly are we going?" I ask.

"A temple in the mountains." He responds still hesitant like he wanted to say something.

"Spit it out. You're hiding something." I'm having enough with him not saying what he really means.

"Would you go on a date with me, there?" His head turned towards mine.

I was a bit taken aback by the question. Nothing would go wrong. What's the problem in helping a lovesick boy out?

"Sure Jimin." I smile as I turn my head towards his.

His eyes drift back to the road, "Really! Oh my gosh. I'm really sorry for everything I've done I swear. It's like a blessing to me."

I laugh at his excitement, "It's really no problem. Also where exactly did you want to go?"

"Jiyeon, seriously it means a lot to me. About the location, I was thinking of skating on a frozen lake."

"You're kind heart hasn't changed a bit." I compliment.

We reached the location and our co-workers were there as well.

Everyone dropped their luggage at the doorstep with a thud.

"So we have to assign room mates," Jimin starts, "and since there are only four of us–Jiyeon being the only girl–I will room with Jiyeon and you two can be roommates with one another."

"Why can't I sleep by myself?" I argue.

"I'm broke. I only rented out two rooms." Jimin responded.

"So Jimin-ssi what's the first thing we're doing?" Sungwoo asks, a co-worker of ours.

"Ahh, we'll be splitting up for a treasure hunt." He's filled with excitement. You can clearly see by his eyes curving up and him clapping his hands.

"I assume it's us two and you two," Daewhi says. Yes it's the last member of the group with us right now.

"Ready? Set....Go!" Jimin shouts and everyone scurries off.

"You know Jiyeon-ah," he plays with his fingers, "I was thinking for our date we could go now."

"Oh okay then! So where to?" I enthusiastically respond.

"We can walk there it's about 10 minutes away. I brought us both ice skates." He seems very nervous based by the prominent blush on his cheeks.

After arriving Jimin handed me a pair of white skates from the rental shop about fifty or so feet away.

As soon as Jimin got on the ice I was amazed by his gracefulness and also left awestruck.

"Jimin you're so good at figure skating!" I clap excitedly.

"Well the thing is. I do dancing as a hobby of mine so I guess I was able to transfer it to the ice." He nonchalantly replies.

I struggle with the skates on the ice, every inch I move forward I feel as if I'm going to plummet into the lake below.

"Jimin," I whine, "I need help."

"I coming wait." He responds as he skates over.

He has me hold his hands; he skates backwards to guide me and I share forwards. Slowly, I'm getting the hang of it.

"Jimin! Aren't I amazing?" I say with glee as I skate around.

"That's it," he smiles.

Badump, badump, badump.

His encouragement helped me out a lot. Around half an hour in, I was getting the swing of things. Of course I wasn't as good as Jimin.

"Jiyeon-ah, our rental time is over!" He calls.

As we were walking to our car an older woman came by, "Oh my, newlyweds already exploring?"

I laugh nervously, but Jimin interrupted.

"Ahjumma, you know we've actually been married for 4 years now. It's a miracle to see that we're young and still together." He laughs off.

The older woman complimented us and was on her merry way back home.

"Why'd you say that?" I asked Jimin.

"Because that's how long I've been loving you for." He smiles.

I went silent, still in awe that someone is able to love someone while they're not even next to you. I guess that's just the beauty of it.
