We didn't have work today, I mean it was a Sunday. When you work for a high position like me, we don't have work on the weekends.
So Jimin took me on a date, but it wasn't what I was expecting at all.
He apparently has friends, shocker I know right, who dance and sing. So he took me to his dance studio. Out of all honesty, it was awkward. Knowing that both of us have mutual feelings is great, but I felt so out of place.
It didn't seem that Jimin felt awkward because he had showcased his love for me numerous times with no embarrassment.
"So this is where I practice," he led me to a room that was surrounded with mirrors and a barre in the corner.
"Wow, " I murmured. It was a fairly big room with nice lighting and was really organized and clean.
"Well show me what you got Mr. Dancer," I teased.
"My pleasure," he winked. He went over to his phone and connected it to the bluetooth speaker.
The music began and he stood in the center of the room, while I was at the front of the room sitting down.
The music was mellow and Jimin let the music take over him. It was beautiful, the way he danced and how he moved so effortlessly. It reminded myself of me when I was younger.
From his actions to his emotions, it was clear to see how much he loved dancing. His performance was breathtaking, and outstanding. He began to sing to the song, and boy was I in for a treat.
Not only did I have a boyfriend who is a CEO, but he's an amazing dancer and singer. His voice was like honey and I would listen to it anytime I get the chance.
I would have never thought he had it in him; through this dance I was able to see a side of him, that I would have never thought existed.
He finished with a final pose; the beads of sweat pouring down his neck we're prominent. My heart started beating like crazy at how attractive he was looking.
Right now is not the time to think of that type of stuff!
"Jimin that was amazing!" I ran towards him.
"Thanks," he sheepishly said as he fidgeted with his hands.
"I would hug you right now, but you're sweating really bad" I pinch my nose, earning a chuckle from Jimin.
"So were you surprised?" He asked.
"Of course I was! You're so good at singing too, you really need to show me more of this side of yourself."
He sadly smiled, "My parents don't know. They'd kill me if I ever told them, they're the type of people who are against the arts."
"Oh," was all I managed to say. I scolded myself for being so rude. I wasn't even able to comfort him, it only made me feel worse.
It pained me to see Jimin, most of the time he was happy but obviously everything on one's face isn't what they're truly feeling. He was hiding so much from me and it bothered me that he wouldn't show his true self. Slowly, he's coming, but it must be so hard for him.
"Jiyeon," Jimin tilted his head, gesturing towards the exit.
Oh he's wearing it again, his sweatshirt looks really nice on him. I wonder why it took so long for me to notice.
We made our way out of the building and took a stroll before heading back to Jimin's place.
Our hands barely grazed as we walked, but Jimin's hand slowly intertwined into mine. I looked over to him and he smiled.
"Hey, you know when I was younger I used to do ballet," I glanced over to Jimin.
"I know–I mean oh really?" My eyes narrowed, I haven't told anyone this. How would he know?
"How do you know?" I asked with my eyebrows furrowed.
"Oh I don't, I just thought you said something else," he said, rubbing his nape. It didn't seem very convincing, but you know that they say.
Curiosity kills the cat.
