Jimin
August 12

Ahh, I should probably visit my dad again for a cure. I should even stay a week there with him, I mean Jiyeon means the world to me.

I made my way into the shower, getting ready and fixing my messy bedhead hair. I went out to the kitchen and made myself a bowl of cereal. Who pours the milk before the cereal? Disgusting!

Today was a slow day, I practically saw Jiyeon everyday but it hurt me that I couldn't see her for a week. I decided to call her, being the good future husband I am.

"Hey Jiyeon," I say with my mouth full of cereal.

"Oh? Hey boyfriend, what makes you call me?"

"I won't be able to come to work for the next week, sorry."

"You have a business trip? Also stop talking while eating, for the umpteenth time!" She scolded me, making me chuckle.

"Yeah something like that, I love you to Pluto and back!"

"I love you more!"

"Don't talk with any guys while I'm gone! Stay safe, love you baby!"

"Don't call me that, bye Jimin." She hung up, her voice made my heart flutter. Making me feel all queasy, and vulnerable.

I put on the sweatshirt that Jiyeon had always commented on, the blue hue of the fabric was beginning to slowly fade. I'm really crazy? Wearing a sweatshirt in the middle of summer.

Third person

Jimin finally arrived at his dad's house. Everything was still the same, the landscaping on the outside and the vines that crawled up the sides of the home.

He rang the doorbell and was greeted by his happy-go-lucky dad. Jimin smiled, he missed seeing him smile and giving Jimin tight hugs.

"It's been awhile, hasn't it?" He smiles as we sit down in the living room area.

"Yeah, I missed you a lot." Jimin replied.

"But, I assume you're here because of the curse?" Jimin's father questioned with a tilt of his head.

"Ah, about that, yes. I only have ten more days left with her." Jimin said with a sad expression.

"Well, while you were gone I found out that she can be saved. It rarely occurs where the two of you can be saved. So it's either you or her."

"What do you mean?" Jimin was confused. Either me or her?

"So the thing is, our family has never been happy together. The curse usually would happen around when you're 30 years old. It's quite different for you, you're 23 and you're last day is in ten days." His father explained.

"Yeah, so you want us to have a kid?" Jimin was very confused at this point.

"Yes, but I also mean that you or Jiyeon is going to have to die."

"What? You can't be serious!" Jimin let a tear trickle down his cheek.

"Jimin, it happens to everyone in our family. Look what happened to your mom, she passed away because she drowned. I didn't know about the curse because she kept it all bottled up."

"Wait. How do you know it's my last day?"

Jimin wiped his eyes, sensing a chance that everything will go right. His father had never told him how he knew when his last day was.

"It's just a parent's intuition, I don't think you'd understand. Sort of like a message in a sense." Jimin's dad explains.

"I think," Jimin paused, "I'll do anything for her. Even if I die."
