Sofie's POV
I glanced at my two friends at the backseat at nakita kong naghaharutan sila habang nakatingin sa phone ni JM. Lumipat ako sa passenger's seat dahil ang gulo nila. Probably they're staring on a picture of a guy with abs. Sus, same scenario as always.
Pinabayaan ko na lang sila magharutan sa likod at tahimik na humarap sa kalsada. Katabi ko ngayon si Manong na driver namin at nabigla naman ako nang magbukas siya ng topic.
"Ma'am excited kayo no?," may aliw na mababakas sa tono nito na agad nagpangiti sa akin.
"Opo e. Hindi ko alam Manong. I can't think straight. Sobrang dami kong gustong sabihin sa kanya pag nakaface to face ko na siya, kinabisado ko pa nga. Pero baka makalimutan ko lang din pag nakaharap ko na. Hay! Bahala na nga."
"Magpakatotoo ka, anak. Makalimutan mo man yung mga isinaulo mo pero lalabas naman mula sa bibig mo yung mga salitang minsan mo lang sabihin at ito'y purong totoo." nakangiting saad pa nito na nagpangiti sa akin.
Ilang minuto pa ay nakarating na kami sa McDonalds sa Vito Cruz. Binaba na kami ni Manong at sinabing magtext na lang ako kung magpapasundo kami na agad sinang-ayunan ng dalawa.
OA man pero mejo nate-tense ako. Feeling ko kakatayin ako sa loob, char. Ih pero kasi kinakabahan talaga ako for real! Hindi ko alam kung ano dapat yung iakto ko sa harap ni Ricci. Kung ano yung dapat kong sabihin, baka magmukha akong tanga—
"Hoy!," my thoughts were cut off when JM spoke. "Tulala ka dyan teh. Tara pasok na tayo."
"W-wait, I'm nervous." I said na nagpatawa sa kanilang dalawa. May nakakatawa ba sa sinabi ko?
"God, girl! Let's go na." aya pa ni Christine at hinila na ko papasok sa McDo. The guard greeted us and escorted us on the 2nd floor where the gt for a cause would be held.
I saw different kind of faces in there. Some were wearing green shirts with his name written on it. Some were having bubble heads. And almost all of them have their gifts for Ricci.
Sa aming pagpasok ay sinalubong ako ni ate Perry. She hugged me which I did also. She escorted us on the middle area dahil occupied na ang unahan. She said she reserved these seats talaga for us.
"Wala pa po?" tanong ko kay ate Perry at nilagay ko sa tabi ko ang regalong binili ko para kay Ricci. I saw JM and Christine having their talks kaya I opened up a topic with ate Pers.
"Hay nako be, wala pa. The bros were always late everytime na may get together pero atleast nagtatagal naman sila than the usual. Siguro, 1 hour before they arrive here pa." Ate Pers casually said which I answered with a nod and a smile before she returned preparing stuffs for the gt.
Napahinga na lang ako ng malalim at nagpangalumbaba. I can hear my heart beating so fast and loud like it wanna come out on its cage. Geez, this is what you do to me, Ricci!
Patuloy lang ang pagmumuni-muni ko when someone approached me. I never saw her pero she's smiling to me so I asked her what brought her on our table.
"Yes?" I respectively asked.
"You're Sofie, right?"
"Yes I am, what can I do for you po?"
"Can we take a picture ate? I'm from UE rin po and you are my girl crush kaso nagkakasalisi po tayo palagi." she sadly said.
"Hala sure po!" I answered before standing and taking a picture with her. She thanked me afterwards at agad na kong bumalik sa kinauupuan ko. Wow, famous na ba ako? Char!
"Ang fame ng tropa natin, Tine. Sarap ibalibag una ulo." JM teased na binelatan ko.
"Basagin ko itlog mo—"
I was cut off from what I was about to say when suddenly the crowd cheered and this place could almost be destroyed because of their loud voices.
I shifted my gaze from my friends to the place where the fans were looking — at the entrance, and was shocked to see them entering the room one by one.
It was sir Mark, their manager who entered first. Followed by Rasheed, aw he looks so fluffy!!!!!!!! Followed by Rashleigh, aw he really looks lechon, jk!!! He looks so cute and I wanna use him as my punching bag! Followed by.....
Wait, where is he?
The fans became silent as the three occupied the seats infront of us. Prince stood up and borrowed the microphone to ate Pers.
He said something that turned my hopes into nothing.
"Guys, Ricci won't be here po." he frankly said which almost got me from crying when someone just spoke from the entrance.
"Charot lang! Ako pa ba mawawala dito?" he said with a wide grin.
And that's when the crowd gone wild again.
