Ricci's POV

"Aaaahhh!!!"

"Omg, Ricci ako rin!!!!"

"Oh my fcking godddddd"

I heard some of their shouts when I carried the quiet girl in a bridal style. What's wrong with carrying someone?

Back to reality, I was still carrying her and I'm maintaining our balance. I should thank my Dad for that, for he trained me about balancing everything when it comes to work outs and such.

"3... 2... 1... TIMES UP!"

As the countdown stopped, Rasheed lost his balance and they went out of the newspaper. And that means...

We are the winner. Yours truly.

Was she afraid of me? Okay, none of my business.

I was interested awhile ago at her, really. But what I said kanina wasn't true. I picked her because she's pretty. That's it. Pero hindi siya yung tipong for one night so bibitawan ko na lang din siya after this. She's not that kind of girl. She's too innocent, for me.

"So the winner on our last game are Sofie and Ricci!" Pers said as she gave the quiet girl her prize for the game. She said thank you for it and when she was about to go back to her seat, I grabbed her hand.

"That was nice playing with you." I told her but she only responded with a nod and a timid smile.

Bumalik na rin ako sa aking kinauupuan. The hosts announced that we should prepare for the photo op with the fans so I decided to rest atleast. Nakakapagod, halos lahat ata ng games kasali ako. Ganto ba talaga pag gwapo?

Seated, my brothers and my friends teased me. Balak ko pa nga sanang paulanan ng bad finger ang mga to kasi we're in a public place. You know, I can frankly do both.

"Ayos bro, may pakarga." Prince said as he laughed, nginisihan ko na lang ito. It is not what they think kasi just like what I've said awhile ago, that girl is different. Kahit gustuhin ko man siyang maka-"you know what it is", palyado pa rin. Hahahaha!

A half hour passed when Pers went to our table.

"Guys, we settled up the place for the photo op. Let's go?"

Tumayo na kami at pumunta sa gitna. As I scanned the line, they are so many. Mukhang mapupunit ang mukha ko kakangiti ah. Pero okay lang. If a photo remembrance would make my fans happy, I'd go for it.

As the line decreases, smile lang ako ng smile. Some of them were commanding me to do such things like do a wacky pose, etc, which I gladly did. I was also receiving gifts.

Minutes passed and I was just doing the same thing. Until the last girl in line approached me and oh, she's the quiet girl I've been talking about.

Holding a paper bag, our eyes met.

"Uhm", she exhaled like she was just tired from a battle before directly looking into my eyes. "Hi Ricci." she smiled innocently and hugged me.

Pinicturan na kami and I smiled. "Thank you for coming," I told her. "And thanks for the game, naenjoy ko." I continued.

She nodded and smiled. "A-ako rin. Salamat. Ah nga pala. I have a gift for you." she continued as she grab a square thing in the paper bag.

My eyes widened, it was a book.

"H-how?" I asked as I accepted the book she gave. So how come?

She smiled like she was sure of what I was asking, "A certain someone just told me about that. That's a mystery-novel book, by the way. I actually asked din for its reviews before I bought it at a bookstore. I hope you enjoy reading. See you again soon, novel boy." she bid her good bye and walked away before I can utter a single word.

Slightly shocked because of her sudden change from being quiet to a slighty loud one, I muttered the words in the air,

"Thank you, weirdo."
