Sunshine Pov

I was being very honest when I said I wasn't mad at Rico about the Tammy situation. You can't be mad at something that happen when you weren't in the picture. If the baby is his which i doubt it is, we'll work through it. I really wanted to vent to someone but you can't let your friends know everything about your relationship. That's where people go wrong at the most. Like they say you can forgive your partner for their wrong doings but your friends and family won't.

That's why I'm going to stay lowkey about the situation because other people might think I'm stupid for not being upset with Rico. In all honesty i see no wrong doing here. He didn't know she was going to a sneaky bitch. But I'm not going to stress myself about the situation until I know if its his or not. Until then I just decided to come and relax.

I walked from the kitchen to my room. I sat my jug of lemon infused water on my desk then sat down. I decide to do more reading I've been slacking lately. I barely have books but I have order some from amazon. I've been trying to find books from Black authors that aren't about slavery or segregation. We are more than that.

I picked up the only book in my room that I haven't finished yet. Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. It was a good poetry book. My own personal opinion i wish some of the poems were longer. No way one sentence should just go on a full page. But that's neither here nor there I still love the book and would recommend it.

I took a sip of my water. Lately I've been trying to cut out sodas for health benefits. I'm not to fond of the taste of lemon water but hey if it can clear my skin, balance my ph and many other things. I'm here for it.

20 mins later.

I was finally done reading the book. I highlighted my favorite poems or things that just stood out to me. I finished off all my water and decided today would be a pamper day. I was gonna cut my phone off so I could just enjoy my alone time. I made a group chat of all the important people and told them what was up so they wouldn't be worried about me.

Of course Rico agreed to not text me but he told me to keep my phone on and with me just in case some shit go down.

I got dressed in an Nike sweat suit and slid on my Nike slides. I grabbed my car keys and left the house. I decide to get my eyebrows waxed and my nails done first.

I made it to the nail shop named Fancy Nails. I parked in the parking lot and got out of the car. I walked into the building and spoke to everyone.

"Hello welcome to Fancy nails. What you get today?" A young Asian man asked me.

I smiled. "Full set, eyebrows and Pedi"

I picked out my nail color first then took a seat in the waiting area.

They spoke in their language and a girl came up to me and told me to follow her to back.

I walked into the station and sat on the table.

She got the wax and turned on the machine to get it hot. Then started waxing my eyebrows.

Once she was finished I walked back to the front and sat at one of the nail stations.

He glued on the tips, cut them to my size /shaped i wanted and then applied the acrylic. He then sent me to the foot chairs.

Once my feet were done soaking they got off any dead skin, massage my feet and placed a hot towel on them. Then they dried my feet off the applied lotion to them.

The lady took my nail polish and painted my toes and nails. I let them dry then left.

I went to the hair store and got the supplies I need to make my wigs. I had started making my own wigs last month, and some girl had asked me to make her one. I was so excited because this is what I wanted to do when i graduated.

I bought enough supplies for my wig and hers.

I put the bags on my back seat then wet to the body waxing place. I was gonna get my kitty waxed for the first time.

After the wax.

That shit hurt so bad but the results were so good. I decided to end my day and go work on this wig because I didn't want anyone saying I took forever and a day to get their stuff to them. Messing my business up before i even got really started.

I enjoyed my little outing. No drama, no social media, and not worrying about people blowing my phone up.
