Rico pov

It's been a few days since we all chilled at sunshine's house. Our video of Dee and Rodger got posted onto Worldstar hip hop.

Rodger was a little upset but Dee gave no fucks. He claims a lot of hoes started dming him.

I think that nigga lying but hey you never know.

As far as sunshine and I she thinks I'm upset with her. I mean a low key jealous but that's stupid because she's not gay and it was before we met each other.

Today I got a text from sunshine saying that she wanted to talk to me about something very important. She wanted to talk face to face so I offered to take her out to diner. 

It's not gonna be considered our first date since we're still just friends but at least I get to spend time with her. Right ?

The date isn't until a few hours from now so I decided to go shoot some hoops.

I got dressed in a black tank top, red basketball shorts, and some red and black Jordan's I didn't care about.

The court that I'm going to is up the street so there's no need to drive my car.

I walked outside then made sure to lock my doors.

Sunshine pov.

So I finally got around to asking Rico about that talked we need to have. I low key nervous as hell.

But it's to late to get out of it plus it needs to happen.

I'm gonna lay my feelings out on the table and hopefully he understands and feels the same way.

If not i guess it's not meant to be.

Anyways let stop thinking negative. Positive vibes only.

Right now I'm on my way to the mall. I wanna get a bad ass outfit  so when I walk in he can be like.

I didn't like anything in my closet and I have a few extra dollars so why not ? 

I'm not gonna spend all my money because I need some for tonight.

Skiped to their date.

Rico pulled out my chair. I sat down and said thank you. He went around the table to his side and sat down.

I looked at him and smiled. " love when hood niggas dress up. "

He chuckled. "I don't you said I wasn't hood."

I rolled my eyes. " I wouldn't considered where we live the hood but some people might."

"Ah I'm only hood in front of rich white people. "

"Lord don't get me started with the race thing cause I can go on and on. " I said.

A female waiter walked over to our table.

"Hello. My name is Becky."

Oh lord it's Becky with the good hair. I thought to myself then busted out laughing.

They both looked at me.

"Uhh sorry. I was just thinking about a meme I saw.."

"Anyways.. I'll be your waiter for tonight. What can I get y'all to drink ?"

Rico looked at me waiting for me to order first.

"Water with a lemon slice please.
"
"And for you?" Becky said a little to happy for my liking.
"I'll have a Mountain Dew. No ice. " Rico said then looked me.

He learned he no ice thing from me. They fill your cup up with ice and you barely get any soda. So you basically pay for some damn ice cubes.

"Alright I'll be back to take your order." She said while looking at Rico.

"Baby momma?"

"Yes baby daddy?"

"You looking good a fuck. Looking tropical and shit. " He put his fist up to his mouth. "Ooowee"

I shook my head "thanks. You look good as fuck too. Lawdd."

I fanned myself to be dramatic. "It's getting out in here. ". I sung

Rico acted like he was Finna take his jacket off. Then we busted out to laughing.

We looked over the menu. The waiter came back with our drinks. "Ready to order. ?"

"Yes I'll have to shrimp Alfredo's with the cheesy garlic bread."

"I'll have the same as her. "
We handed her the menus and she left.

   
Few minutes later.

She came back with our food and sat it in front of us.

"Thank you. "

I took a picture of my food and Rico. I posted it on Snapchat with caption. 💕 date ?

We prayed over the food together.

I grabbed my fork and ate a little.

"this shit good as fuck. " Rico said.

"Let me try yours. " I said with a smile.

"We got the same thing lil baby. "

"Yours look better. "

He rolled his eyes. "YoURs LOok BeTtEr. "

He put some on his fork and put it up to mouth. I smiled and ate it.

"Yours taste better. "

"Really? Let me taste yours."

"No."
He looked at me and smiled while shaking his head.

"Moving on. Let's get down to business. Tell me your feelings. Be a hunnid. Don't hold nothing back. " he said.

I took a sip of my water. "Ok.."
