Rico Pov

I clasped my hands together and waited for her to start speaking.

She rubbed her hands together then used the napkin that sat in her to lap to wipe them.
Her hands had gotten sweaty. I've noticed that they get sweaty when she's nervous.

"Baby girl don't be nervous. This conversation will help our future together. I won't judge you and no matter what happens it won't change my feelings." I said while looking into her eyes.

"Ok. I'm just trying to think of where to start. " she said then took a sip of her drink.

"Tell me why you won't let me make us official. I mean we do relationship things. I know you feel the connection we have. " I said.

"Yes Rico I do like you but I'm scared. I've never been in a relationship. I don't want to be out here looking stupid. I'm scared to trust you. " she said while looking down at her hands that sat in her lap.

"I feel like your trust issues came from what your mother did. How she just left y'all but I want you to know you'll leave me before I leave you. Honestly I always wanna be around you. I have to hear and see you at least once a day or I'll drive myself crazy worrying about you."

She looked at me and smiled. "Really?"

I shook my head yes.

She cleared her throat. "I'm still iffy about but I really like you and I'm willing to give it a chance. "

"Y-" I started to cheer but was cut off.
"But promise me you won't lie to me and if someone else sparks your interest be with them don't cheat on me. " She said.

     Sunshine pov.

"I promise to never lie again and never ever ever cheat on you." He said.

"Again? What you mean again?" I questioned with my left eyebrow raised.

"Umm.. promise me you won't get mad. "

"I promise."

He blew his breath. "Technically I haven't lied but I need to come clean with some stuff. So sometimes I let Tammy give me head but I stopped once I realized my feelings for you. Also I never fucked her I haven't even touched or seen her kitty. "

I laughed at the fact he said kitty. "That's it? I'm sure she's sucked every dick at the central."

"But wait there's more. "

I tucked my lips inside on my mouth and waited for him to continue. He reached over and grabbed my fork and knife.

"So uh before we ever ever talked to each other Rodger,Dee and I came up with a bet."

My heart starting beating faster.

"The bet was for me to get you to like me because we thought you were stuck up and it'd be a challenge. I could also get more money if I smashed. "   He took a pause and looked at me.
" The bet was canceled a long time ago. We canceled it because I caught real feelings and you're Dee's sister. We didn't wanna do you dirty."

I got up from the table.

"You said you wouldn't get mad. You promised." He said.

"I'm not mad." I chuckled. "I'm hurt."

I grabbed my purse then threw the rest of my drink on him then walk out of the restaurant.
