It's the next day in history. It's coming close to the end of class. There was a knock on the door and Rick looked over. He waved whoever is there in. The door opened and it's the principal.

"Mr. Saltzman, do you mind if Skye comes with me?" He asked. Great, what did Sam do?

"Yes, Skye-" Rick looked at me and I got up and grabbed my bag. As I started to walk out Rick looked at me and mouthed 'what did you do?' and I just shrugged. I walked out into the hallway and the principal close the door behind me. We started to head towards the office.

"Sir would you mind telling me why I'm going to the office?" I wondered.

"You aren't in trouble so don't worry. It might actually be a good thing." He smiled but I'm confused. We walked into his office and there was the head of admissions there also, "Sit." I sat down and I'm just very confused.

"Does this have to do with Sam?" I wondered.

"No, this is about you."

"Ok?"

"Are you aware that you have perfect grades in all your classes?" The head of admissions asked.

"I knew for some of my classes. I didn't really know about math though?"

"Skye having perfect grades is great. Would you like to go into any advanced placement classes?" The principal asked. What? Really?

"Um, it's about halfway through the school year. I don't think that's exactly the greatest. Also I study a lot. It's very stressful for me. I'm also still going through some mental issues because of what has happened within the past couple of months." I told them. I'm just lying a bit; not fully though. They looked at each other.

"Understood. Are you going to do a sport or be involved in a club during the spring?" The principal asked. I'm confused. The bell rang.

"Why are you asking this?" I wondered.

"We just want the best for you and for you to go to a good college." The head of admissions seems like he was lecturing me. I just looked at them both.

"I get that you want the best for your students, and thank you for that, but a conversation about colleges is up to me and something I would do with a parent." I told them as I stood up.

"We are just trying to help because you don't exactly have someone to talk to about this."

"Yes I do." I'm a bit offended.

"I'm not sure if Mr. Saltzman is the best to talk to about this."

"Why not? He's helped me so much. He's my teacher. He went to college and he also went abroad. I think I'll be fine talking to him about college."

"Skye, we're just trying to help."

"I've had enough help within the past-" I'm getting a bit fired up.

"Skye." Rick stepped in. I looked at him, "Why don't you head to your next class?" Rick suggested because he knew I was getting fired up. He came just in time.

"Skye this talk isn't done." The principal told me.

"Sir, I am her legal guardian. I believe I am able to continue this conversation for her; especially if she is uncomfortable in this conversation." Rick said.

"Skye, it's up to you." The principal looked at me.

"I have a class to get to. I think he should continue this conversation." I said.

"Then you are dismissed." The principal told me and I went to the door where Rick is. He looked at me worried. I continued to walk out then headed to my next class.
