Part 22

I'm waiting in Rick's classroom. School has been over for about forty minutes now. Damon was gonna wait with me but I just told him to go home.

"Hey, so you ready to go?" Rick walked in with a small smile.

"Yeah, but where are we going?" I wondered.

"Shopping." He grabbed his bag then headed back over to the door.

"Um, shopping? Not exactly what I would do with someone like you." I said then he turned around.

"Someone like me?" He questioned.

"Well you know what I mean. Shopping is what I would do with Kate and Em. Plus you don't have a lot of money. Especially after that trip to England."

"Well," Rick came over to me, "Sam said to take you shopping today and to use the money that you got back." He smiled.

"But what are we shopping for?" I questioned.

"Well you really only have a weeks worth of clothes so that's one thing. I would also think that you'd like to make it your room and not look like a stereotypical guess bedroom."

"Rick, I don't really-"

"But I think we should stop somewhere first. I talked to Sam about this stop. He thinks you would like it."

"Rick-"

"No, come on." He smiled then walked out. Ugh.

We pulled into a car dealership.

"Sam agreed for me to pick out a new car for us?" I'm shocked.

"Yeah. He trusts you." Rick grinned and we parked.

"So we're getting it right now? Buying it this second?"

"Yeah, now Sam told me a car that you guys said that you two would like and I checked if-"

"A Mazda CX-5 is what we agreed on."

"Yes and they have one. Only in black or silver." Rick told me as we walked inside.

"Can we check them?"

"Yes, I already asked if they could-"

"How can I help you today?" A salesman came over.

"I called before about the Mazda CX-5."

"Let me get my manager." He said then walked over to a desk. He started to talk to a man then that man came over to us.

"Hi I'm the manager here. My name is John. You said you called about a Mazda CX-5?"

"Yes."

"What's your name?" He lifted up his tablet.

"It's under Saltzman." Rick told him. John started to type on his tablet.

"Do you have identification?" John wondered as he looked at Rick.

"Yes." Rick nodded and pulled out his wallet. He gave his license to John. He looked at it then gave it back.

"You can come with me." John said as he started to walk off. Rick and I followed. We headed outside but to the back. I saw the two Mazdas, "Here we are." John smiled, "So I'll let you know a few things."

Two hours later and I'm sitting in my new black Mazda CX-5. It's so nice. I love it and Sam's gonna love it. We got a good deal for it also. Rick and I are now going to head to the mall. Rick knocked on the window. I put the window down.
