Grace's sun room was once again occupied with their daily visitors. Each one had brought a story to tell. Clarice was the first one to set her cappuccino down. It was the same daily routine, the first to set down their cup starts the topic. "So, how's your day?" Clarice's life didn't have too much pizazz lately, merely having jerk-face's lunch down her front and hair.
"Fine." they said unison. Then all was returned to silence. Kristle's eyes peeked from behind her cup that was held steady in front of her lips. Should she tell? They were her friends of course she could. Finally she placed her cup down on her saucer before she spoke. "Well my friendship with Tristan almost got blown by Jerk-face." Clarice and Grace looked at Kristle in horror. "No he didn't!" Kristle shrugged her shoulders like it was no big thing but in truth, it was a huge thing.
"So did you patch it up with him?" Jessica asked calmly. After hearing how much she talks about Tristan this was no exception. "Yeah, we made up even though I looked like a weirdo crying in front of him..." Grace set her cup down and placed a hand over hers. "You should tell him. Seriously. You have been keeping this crush for 3 years!" Kristle looked down as her cheeks turned pink. "You know why I don't want to tell him...friendship is all I got with him..." but even when she said it, her voice sounded fake. Thinking about his deep hazel brown eyes and running her fingers through the strands of his hair, it was almost unbearable.
"So Jes, what about you?" Jessica was lost in thought of her recent events. Was she doing the right thing? Benedict was already married to some Delia girl. It had all been a mistake, her kissing him and worse when she recovered her vision she wanted more, she wanted passion, his love. "You cannot redo what has been done." one of her mother's emphasized values went through her head. "Jes?" her eyes perked up and Jessica set her cup back down. "Nothing happened." her voice was kept straight and even, but inside she felt like screaming out all her problems.
"Grace?" grace smiled sadly and placed down her cup. "Nothing much, Andre came to see me on our last precious shopping trip." They looked down in guilt, especially Clare. She felt her brother's guilt weigh down on her heavier than others. "I'm so sorry..." Clarice said softly, this time she was holding Grace's hand. Grace swiftly swiped a tear away. She could weep all she wanted when she got home. "Come on, why the dull conversation. I need gossip." Jessica said cheekily as a smile returned to she face. Grace rolled her eyes while Kristle gave her sister a playful nudge. Clarice beamed happily glad that the mood of their mash meeting had changed. And so that marks another eventful 'episode' for the Mash friends, who knows what else awaits them.
