Started As Friends ( Izan × Soneya )

Chapter 1 : Where It First Began

     I live in a somewhat small village... but it gets bigger everyday. More and more people come in and have families of their own, I like my home but for some reason other people don't. I just find it weird... why would someone not like my village? Here we don't care if you're in love with a cat person and you're a werewolf, I think people would want to fall in love with who they want to. But people don't like that... so more of the dad's have to go out and fight, and more big brothers have to train to be a gaurd. When I grow up I want to be the Best guard! And Protect My Village, And My Family!!

     " Izan!!! Where are you?! "

     I looked down from the tree I climbed in and saw my best friend looking for me, I quietly climbed down and sat on a branch above her. I watched as she stood there screaming my name.

     " Izan Come On!! This Isn't Funny Anymore!!! I'm Starting To Get Scared!!! " She whined while cupping her hands together making the sound of her voice screaming louder.

     I swong down and looked at her upside down and scared her, " I didn't mean to worry you. "

    " Ahhh!! " She yipped while she fell done against the tree from my surprise.

    I started to laugh from her reaction, but checking me off guard the branch I was hanging from broke... and I landed face first on the ground. I looked up and saw her reaching her hand out for me, her beautiful blue ocean eyes, and her porcelain skin, with her silky brown hair blew in the light breez. I took her hand and she helped me up, she put her hand on my  left cheek I felt slight pain.

     " Come on... " She angrily huffed pulling my hand with her back to the village.

~~ Time Skip ~~

    " And.... There! " She announced when she put a homemade band-aid that her mom made on my cut cheek. It was cute to watch her stick her tongue out when cleaning the cut so it wouldn't get worse.

     " Thanks Sonyea.... " I blushed from embarrassment while scratching the back of my head.

     " No problem! Just next time be more careful... and stop climbing trees! " She whined, then punched my right arm. " You know I can't climb trees, so that's unfair when you hide in them when we're playing hide and seek! "

    " I'm sorry Soneya.... I just forget..."

    " It's okay... just try and remember... "

    " Izan your grandparents are here! " Soneya's mom yelled from downstairs.

    Soneya and I walked downstairs to the door where my grandparents waited for me outside, I looked back as Soneya and she gave me a big hug. I hugged her back and soon had to let go, she waved good bye as we soon walked away. When I looked back at her house.... I knew.... I didn't want to be without her.....
