Chapter 9 : Only For Her

  Izan's POV

     Tap tap tap, followed by another three taps. That's all I was doing while Soneya was pacing around never taking her eyes off the floor, I glanced up at her with tears threatening to fall. I got up and took her in my arms as she buried her face in my chest, as her salt water tears soaked my bloody shirt. I held her tightly until a door opened and the doctor walked out, she ran out of my arms and went to the doctor.

     " W-will he make it... " She asked with her voice cracking and sounding very shaky.

      " Yes he will, but he just needs some rest right now. And for the spell... our villages sorceress has never seen something like this, I don't think she'll be able to change him back... " He sadly anonced to us.

      I held her close to me again, and looked at her with sympathetic eyes. " A-atleast he's still here, we-we'll get through this. " I reansured her to the best of my abilities.

     " Can we see him? " She asked

    He shakes he's head slowly and looks up at Soneya, " I don't think that'd be a good idea, he's really jumpy at the moment. He just needs to get some rest, plus the sight in there is not pleasant... I wouldn't want you to hurt more than you already are... " The doctor respond.

     She just simply nodded her head and leaned back into my chest again, I wrapped my arm around her and looked back at the doctor.

     " Thank you, for everything that you have done. " I thanked, reaching in my pocket trying to find some emeralds to pay him with.

     He places his hand on my shoulder making me stop and look at him shaking his head, " There's no need for payment. " He smiles up at me, " I'm just glad I could be up to some use, have a good day you two. "

     " Thank you sir. " I smiled.

     He smiled back to me and walked away, I looked back at Soneya as she put on the best smile she could. I walked with her still in my arms to her house, the sun was setting and everyone was turning in for tonight.

     " Soneya dear, shouldn't you be inside already? " Mrs. Benet asked.

     " We're heading there right now Mrs. Benet, no need to worry. " Soneya replied.

      " Alright deary, just wanted to make sure. Tell your mother that we're sorry about what happen to Mikela, and we'll make her my famous casseroles. "

     " Alright Mrs. Benet, I'll be sure to tell her. " She chuckled.

     Our village's people are like family, once something happens to one of them everyone gets involved. But I never understood why people cared so much about Soneya being inside when it gets dark?

     " Hey Soneya? "

     " Yeah Izan? " She looked up to me with sweet eyes.

     " Um... why are the people asking why you're not inside? " I asked.

     " Don't you remember my curse? " She asked.

     " Honestly no, I don't... " I feel so embarrassed.

     " My dad was cursed when he was younger to transform into a man slaughtering werewolf in the night, but he's gotten control over the years. Well the curse passed on to his children, it didn't get passed on to Mikela though. It got passed to me insted, but the only thing that happens to me is my hair and eyes change colors like my dad's dose when it's night. "

     " What colors? "

     " My hair changes to white like your's, and my eyes change to red. Just like my dad's dose when he changes, but the fact that I'm already werewolf from my mom's side I don't grow ears of a tail like my dad. " She explains.
