Chapter 7 : Monster of a Brother

  Mikela's POV

     The light shot through my body I held my stomach, as it felt like all my organs were burning inside. I looked up at him as he watched me suffer, I tried to get up but fell back on my knees. As the light surrounding my body was moving faster, and a burst of light shot from my body. As my arms were wide open and I stared at the ceiling the burning sensation became unbearable, my screams of pain made the light shine brighter. As waves of light came shooting from my body the pressure of them shattered the windows, and my body collapsed to the ground.

  Izan's POV

     Soneya and I were walking through the village until the sound of shattering glass and screams broke the silence, we shot our attention to the building Mikela went to. A bright light was illuminating the whole building, as the screams got even louder.

     " Mikela!! " Soneya screamed when she darted to him.

     I immediately ran after her for who knows what kind of trouble is going on, but I'm not going to have it happen to her.

  Mikela's POV

     The pain was excruciating, and became too much for me. My body collapsed and I tumbled down the steps of the thrown, I held my stomach in hopes that it would relieve the pain... it didn't. The sounds of my bones cracking and feeling them sifting inside my body, as my muscles feel like they're being stretched but I feel the pain of them being tightened.

  Zane's POV

     As I watched in amusement of his pain, my satisfaction was broken by the sound of banging on the door followed by the screams of the one I despise.

     " Hold On Mikela!! " Izan yelled through the door.

  Mikela's POV

     My eyes shot open by the sound of Izan at the door, I then looked at Zane as he looked back at me. He snapped his finger and his guards gathered by him, one of them tugged at the women's chains and she began to open up a portal. They all left one by one but Zane was the last to go, he looked over his shoulder back at me and chuckled.

      When we was fully through the portal it closed leaving me alone in mind numbing pain, as the spell was fully taking place. Spike like hair was sprouting out of my skin like thousands of needles, my hands were deforming and my nails feel as if someone is slowly pulling them out with pliers. I began to cough up blood and saw my teeth were in the puddle of blood, but I felt razor-edged teeth stabing their way through my open holes where my teeth use to be.

  Izan's POV

     When Soneya and I finally broke through the door we saw a gruesome sight, Mikela was laying in a puddle of blood. In pain no man had probably felt before, I could see a light building up inside of him. When Soneya tried to get closer to him as huge blast of air and light shot us back to the wall, with Mikela's armor flying at us and the air slammed the door shut. They blast of air and light became more frequent, Soneya was blocking her face with her hands and trying to get to Mikela but keyed on getting blasted back. I ran over to her and held her in my arms using my body as a shield, I looked over my shoulder to see Mikela screams in pain.

  Mikela's POV

     I felt my skin on my back getting tore as if someone is slowly pulling bones out of my back, I looked over my shoulder to see two what looked like to be bones were stretching through my skin still they finally stabbed out my skin. My face was getting pulled and my bones were sifting to create a muzzle of a wolf, as my ears were stretching to make the shape of a wolf's ears. I got off my side  and laid on my knees as these bones were growing out of my back my whole body was changing, as I watched wolf paws claw through my hands at the knuckles. I soon felt as if glass was stabbing through my bones, I watched the feathers germinating out of the think layer of skin on the bone, my screams turned into growles and I no longer could speak. As the magic flowing through me was getting stronger and building up I looked at both my little sister and my friend, as one last tear escapes from my eyes; the strongest extension of light sent a tidal wave of magic screaming twards Izan and Soneya.

  Izan's POV

     I held Soneya close to me as the magic was getting closer, she buried her face in to my shoulder and cried. I squeezed my eyes shot and was waiting ready for whatever came our way, but nothing did. I opened my eyes and saw the magic disapate into thin air, Soneya slowly loosened her grip and looked at Mikela. We began to walk close to him and his body began to twich, blood was dripping from the feathers. There was pieces of flesh on the ground around him, and shredded clothes. He started to get up when I realized that this wasn't Mikela anymore, it was a huge wolf with wings covered in blood. I drew my sword and faced it at the creature while shielding Soneya, it was wobbly on it's feet and looked like it was in pain. I got a closer look at it until we met eyes, I stared deeply into it's golden yellow eyes it was as if they were a pare of eyes that I know well.

   My eyes widen as I continued to stare, I hesitantly attempt to touch the creature's face. " Mikela? " I asked

    He leaned his face into my palm and closed his eyes, I grabbed the other side of his face and laid my forehead on his.

     " Oh Irene.... Mikela... I'm so sorry! " I cried, as tears overflowed my eyes and ran down my face.

     Soneya ran over to the side of me and looked at me with sorrow in her eyes, she turns her attention to Mikela.

     " Mikela? " She trembled when she spoke.

     He bows his head in shame, then looks up to her with sorrow in his eyes. She began to tear up and lungged herself on Mikela,

     " Oh Mikela! " She cried out.

     She was in tears holding on him as if afraid to let go, I watched as the person I love is devastated over what happened. I vow to myself and for the people I love, that who ever did this will not make it out alive...
And I think I have a good idea who this mister is...
