I was currently waiting in the apartment in my dress. I couldn't believe Kousuke and I were together for 3 years now, it was exhilarating. I had planned a surprise party for him, to celebrate our relationship.

I heard the sound of a door opening and distinct chatter. I quietly walked to the door, a big smile on my face...

Which immediately dropped when I saw his lips on hers. I stopped, motionless in the doorway when I saw Kousuke and this bitch kissing like it was their anniversary.

"Kousuke..." I whispered, tears threatening to spill from my eyes. He heard my silent plea and turned to me, a ghastly expression on his face.

"(Y)-(Y/N), I can explai-" he started. I took off my shoe and slapped him in the face with it. Hard.

"Kousuke, you fucking bastard!" I yelled, tears spilling out of my eyes, "How fucking dare you!" He stood there, shocked, with a big red mark on his face.

"Don't hurt Kousuke-kun like that!" the girl shrieked, hugging him tightly. I chuckled and threw my shoe at her, hitting her square in the face.

"Don't talk to me, Kousuke." I slipped the promise ring off my finger, and threw it to the ground. "This is over. Enjoy the dinner." I ran out the door, slamming it in both of their faces.

Well, now I guess I have to move.

I sighed, reluctantly sitting down on Mrs. Hirahara's couch.

"Dear, I know what he did," she said simply, placing a hand on my knee. I smiled and moved it away.

"I know. I don't need pity right now," I replied, wiping my eyes. She sighed and moved closer to me.

"I didn't know my son would grow up to be a two-timer..." she said disappointingly, "Wait until I get my hands on his cheating, lying ass..."

"I-I don't need you to be doing that... Please, Mrs. Hirahara."

"Call me Yui. No need for formalities here, (Y/N)."

"I-I'm not comfortable with that... Mrs. Hirahara."

"Why?"

"I-I only feel like... People that are close to... others of your family should be able to call you by your first name, as if you were their mother..." I choked, biting my lip. She sighed and embraced me.

"It's okay, it's okay, call me whatever you want, remember, I'll still love you." I let tears slide down my face, remembering the times when Kousuke and I were together. I subconsciously touched my left ring finger and flinched when I didn't feel the hard, cold metal.

"Goddammit..."

I walked along the street, trying to find Kousuke one last time before I could leave for good. I needed to return something to him.

"Do you know where I can find Mr. Hirahara?" I asked the lady working at the front desk. She instructed me to Floor 8, Office 3.

"Thank you." I took the elevator and approached his office. Knocking on the door three times, I heard a feminine voice say, "Come in!" I walked through and looked icily at Kousuke and Megan.

"I wanted to return something to you, Kousuke," I said coldly, dropping a bag at his desk. My glare matched his own, and I swear I saw him wince a little.

"Thank you..."

"No need to thank me, I'm just doing what any other sane person would do, Mr. Hirahara." I was about to walk away when I felt someone pull at my hair.

"You can't talk to Kousuke like that!" Megan whined, digging her nails into my shoulder. I slapped her hand away.

"I can do whatever the hell I want to."

It's been a few years. I've kept in touch with Mrs. Hirahara, but Kousuke remains a secret.

It's about time I visit his sorry ass. I rolled down my sleeves, so people couldn't see the fresh scars. I was still active in business, I just have a minor emotional slump at the moment.

I took a taxi to the Hirahara Corp., then made my way inside, recognizing the classy interior.

"Floor 8, Office 3," I recollected, pushing the shiny button for the eighth floor. I opened the door and looked at the ravenette before me.

"How many times do I have to tell you, knock bef- (Y/N)?" he asked.

"Hello Mr. Hirahara, what a pleasant surprise. Where's your little wifey at?" I sneered, sitting down in one of the chairs. He grimaced and pointed to the wall, showing me Megan, who was busy applying makeup.

"Kousuke, I'm not done yet!" she whined, stomping her feet like a little child. She noticed me and snapped her portable mirror shut.

"What the hell are you doing here, slut?" she scoffed, advancing towards me. I smirked and crossed my arms.

"I presume you're talking about yourself?" I said, playing innocent. She growled and ran to pull on my hair.

"I'll do horrible things to you, much more than you can do to yourself," she threatened, rolling up my sleeves. I smirked and licked my lips.

"Try me."

"Just kill yourself already!"

"STOP!" Kousuke shouted, interfering with our fight. I threw Megan onto the ground, and stomped on her hand.

"Bye, bitch."

It's been five years since Kousuke and I broke apart. It gets lonely up here. I never have to do anything, just wait for him to come up here to join me. It gets really lonely up here.

I'm just sitting here, waiting.

And waiting.

And waiting.

For him to come up and kiss me.

Like we always did.

(Kousuke's POV)

Meg started to drink again. She's become more out of control. I think tonight is going to be the night.

I'm going to join (Y/N). Finally.

I let the blood flow down and the screams echo in my head.

I just smiled.

I'm coming, my love.

(Reader's POV)

I stared at the white clouds, waiting for Kousuke. I just wanted someone to hold on to. I rested my head on my knees, arms cradling my legs. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and looked up.

"Kousuke?"
