I tighten my grip around the child's little hand. As his tears fall down his cheeks. I'm doing must of the running, I was basically dragging him.

He kept on crying about his parents. And I had to hold my tongue so I couldn't tell back that my parents were dead as well. But even I didn't have the heart to spit that back to a child.

"Come on... the faster we go, the faster we can see your parents!!" I said with an encouraging voice. Who am I kidding? There was no way off this wretched place. Where are we even going? We were only wandering around in circles!?!

The familiar metal sound reaches my ear, more of Ultron's clones it must be. I curse in Sokovia under my breath, should I use my power?! That'll just slow us down. Should I run? But where will we go?

Bullets flew in the air as I gasp, quickly summoning a barrier in front of me. I turn and run, releasing my power.

BOOM!!
An explosion goes off and I'm thrown into the air and hit the ground, HARD.

I bite my lip to stop myself from screaming. "Must... bring him to safety.." I look back to the boy I was holding onto.

Or what was left of him....

When I turned to look at my side, I could only see his little fist around my hand, that was severed from his body. And the body of the boy was nowhere to be found.

I scream, quickly dropping the little limb and I couldn't run because I was frozen in horror and all my regretful and horrible thoughts were rushing towards me.

An arrow sticked out of the robots head as it collapsed onto the ground. A strong hand pulls me by the arm and asks me "Wanda! You alright?" It must've been Clint.

But I couldn't answer, because all I was thinking was...

He's dead... oh god!! He had parents!! W-What what!! How are they going to feel when they find out!! No!! Nonono!! He was just a child! I killed him!! I killed a little child!!

Without warning, the Archer picked me up and quickly hid us both behind the ruins of a house. However for me it only felt like a breeze of the wind.

"Wanda snap out of it!!"

Clint's hands wave in front of my face and I flinch from the sudden action. I only look down in guilt and sorrow. I deserved it, "I killed him!!"

I cover my mouth with my hand, I can't believe I just said that. Tears build up, but I didn't intend to let them go.

Clint sighs and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Listen kid, if you're going to be an Avenger. You need to accept the fact that you can't save everyone."

But if I don't I'll end up like Stark... I breathe in and out, I'm being so ridiculous.
