I fiddled with the buttons on my jacket as sweat started to drip down my forehead. Me, my brother and the rest of the team were flying a jet, about to land in Sokovia. We were supposed to escort the rest of the civilians out of the city during the fight with Ultron.
However, coming back here made me nervous. The last time I was here, I saw destruction... And now I will see it once again.
My brother puts a hand around mines "Are you alright?"
I nod trying not to let my fear show. I must be strong. "Why wouldn't I be..."
He stares at me for a second then drops it. Stark moves over to the table with a hologram of the city. "Okay let's go over the plan..."
The rest of us surround the table, "I will be in charge of looking for Ultron, I get the first punch on the big guy.."
Captain looked at me and Pietro "I want you two to be in charge of escorting the civilians out of the city, this is our fight not theirs..."
He points to Pietro "You'll run to the police station to warn the officers, Wanda will control the civilians out of the city.."
I look at my brother, the idea of getting separated always got to me but Pietro would always remind me he would come back.
"Jet will land in 3 minutes. Please fastened your seatbelts." FRIDAY says.
I wipe my hands on my pants trying to get rid of the sweat from my palms. I sat down next to Pietro as another person did next to me. I looked up to see the red android who was fastening his seatbelt as well.
When he catches my eye, Vision looks at me up and down as if he was scanning me. (He did btw)
Pietro poked out his head "What are you doing to my sister?" Putting a protective arm around me.
"I was only scanning for any sign of health problems that are causing some symptoms.." Vision replies.
"Symptons?"
"Yes... Miss. Maximoff's sweat levels are high and this can be the effect of anxiety or stre-" the rest of his words was muffled when I cover his mouth with my hand.
"Wanda?"
"Pietro, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about... you shouldn't listen to him.."
"GUYS!! We're about to land!! Get in your positions!!" Clint said.
Pietro turns to me
"I'll be alright.." I say putting a hand on his shoulder "Just focus on the mission.."
He sighs squeezes my hand thats on his shoulder then runs off.
"Miss. Maximoff.." Vision mumbles under my other hand. When I remembered about Vision, I quickly withdrawed my hand.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" I tried to find the right words but my mind seemed to be clouded with the mission.
He nods "I understand... that you don't want to worry your brother... however, base on my knowledge of humans, I don't think you should keep these feelings to yourself.."
I almost put on a scowl, but remembered he didn't know anything about humans. So I force a kind smile "It's just human nature to do so.."
Vision looks at me uncertainty, please tell me he doesn't have a program that can detect emotions "I suppose.."
