School AU

The school was as monochrome as ever and actually just plain boring. Ever since you moved here things appeared just grey and nothing seemed to change it. You were the new kid in school, so people tended to avoid you and thus you hadn't made any friends.

Actually, you weren't the person to initiate in a conversation either, so you often just ran around with your nose into a book to escape the world.

In fact, that happened so often that by the end of the first week you had already read all the books you could find in the school library.

One day, you noticed that that particular day was one of those 'everything went simply wrong' day. Firstly your hair needed an hour to style, you grabbed the wrong book from your shelf, messed up your breakfast...so you weren't really surprised when you managed to bump into one of you seniors.

Jung Hoseok was standing there with curious eyes staring back into your soul and all you could do was just plan a way to escape. You picked yourself up and power-walked your way out of there.

You felt a sudden presence beside you, you ended up turning around to a smiling Hoseok. You weren't sure if he was walking with you or just in the same direction so you suddenly stopped. He stopped. You walked. He walked. You skipped and be sure that he also did as well.

"Can I help you?" you said in a slightly irritated tone while walking normally once again.

"I haven't seen you around, what's your name? Are you new? Where are you from? When do you plan to get married?" he asked.

"Married?" I asked making a harsh stop.

"We need to agree on this first before having children."

"Children?!?" you exclaimed and he burst into laughter. And you did too. Only not as loud as him.

"My name is Hoseok," he said holding his hand in front of me.

"I know," you said taking his hand " I am (y/n)."

"Now you got to tell me how you found my pickup line. Did it have a strong impact on you?" he said with a heart-shaped smile. You laughed.

"Well I can't really compare it to anything else, but it did have an impact. I now think you are a creep" you said sarcastically and enjoyed his face turning from happy to terrified.

"Jagi... Don't say that... I know deep down you love me just as much as I do..." he said doing dramatic poses.

"But we just met," you said smiling and taking out a piece of paper. "You know what. You are low-key the funniest guy I ever met. Let's talk again soon," you explained and wrote your number before giving it to him. Then you walked into the classroom and smiled as Hoseok was standing outside the door, violently waving his hand as in a goodbye fashion.

Seems like life will certainly get more entertaining from now on. Maybe this is a happy day after all.
