You entered the hall holding the hand of your best friend tightly as other teams performed their dances. They were all skilled and you were afraid that you both wouldn't shine as you wanted.

Constantly checking your outfits didn't help either, since it made you only more stressed about the whole situation. You both had been practicing like driven by the devil and before arriving here you were sure to win this. Now, however, things seemed not so sure as before.

You watched the judges coming from various places, also from idol industries. You recognized your senior Jung Hoseok. Even tho you were from different companies, his group would occasionally visit the Got7 seniors. You guessed that while making a big appearance internationally, they were invited to judge the competition.

You recalled the importance of this show. It was your chance to either debut or get the attention of the other companies, who were willing to take better care of you.

With last words of encouragement, you and your best friend walked on the stage. Of course in the wrong direction. Great first impression.

It was scary being on the stage, but you really wanted to show what you are made of. After a quick introduction, the music started. You closed your eyes feeling the music vibrating in your ears.

A serious expression masked your face and you were ready to show. You danced your dance perfectly and your best friend did as well. All the parts that were considered hard, both of you managed to perform with no exhaustion what so ever. Then again, you worked your butt off for this performance and if it meant for you to debut, then you would do your maximum.

Your show ended and you and your partner breathed heavily, sweat running on your forehead. The fierce expression still on your face.

The judges exchanged glances and J-hope spoke up.

"Can (y/b/f/n) show us some freestyle dancing?"

You gulped, this is what you both feared most. Random music started playing and your best friend froze. Panicking you started dancing to the music in the hope it will distract everyone from your best friend and it did, mostly at least.

This did tho, had an impact on your evaluation and you both got second place which meant no debut for both of you. You cried. Your best friend apologized multiple times and every time you told her that it was not her fault.

After you calmed down you went to the toilet to refresh yourself and your makeup that would for sure be ruining your face. After doing just that, you walk out only to bump into the one and only J-hope. You greeted him respectfully, but in your mind, you wanted to take his neck and twist it several times. If it wasn't for him you had won for sure.

"You were amazing," J-hope stated with an amazing smile. You thanked him and quickly duck, ready to run, but J-hope ain't had any of that.

He skillfully grabbed your arm and pulled you back sending your body towards his chest. You winced.

"Don't you want to work for bighit? HitmanPD plans to form a new group and we need recruits," he said still holding you as if you were to run away. "He, no, I would really want to have you around."

You blushed.

"Not if (y/b/f/n) is left alone..."

"Don't worry about it, Jungkook is taking care of that in this exact moment," he said, flashing that killer smile once again. You looked deep into his eyes that were sparkling with anticipation.

"You know... I actually have been waiting for this to happen... For a long time now..." he once again said not leaving your gaze.

"I and Jungkook would always beg RM to visit Jackson again only to find a way to see you both, watching you dance and have fun is amazing. So would you... Please... Come to our company so that we won't cause any scandals?" he softly spoke.

"What... Sort of scandal do you have in mind?" you asked not being able to comprehend any words J-hope was tweeting in your ears.

"You know the kind..." he whispered and leaned in before SOMEONE RUDELY INTERRUPTED. Your best friend skipped towards you bringing the shocking news you already knew. You grunted. Way to ruin a perfect moment, then you realized that you did, in fact, had a moment with someone you barely knew.

You bowed to J-hope, accepting his offer after removing yourself from his embraces. Annoyance could be seen on his face and he turned to Jungkook, giving him a meaningful expression.

You realized that, that night Jungkook didn't sleep well. You nighter if you didn't clear things up. But before you could turn to Hoseok, he had already stolen your hand and was dragging it outside, along with the rest of the body.
