'Do you like animals and have a lot of free time? Become our dog sitter from Monday to Friday! We'll wait for you."

"Hey look! That could be something for you!", your best friend tells you while pointing and the advertising on the blackboard of the coffee shop you were in. Indeed this kind of job would be perfect for you, now that you ended school and waited for the response getting into vet school.

"Why do you always find the things I need the most at the time I need them the most," you laughed. You finished your hot chocolate and walked to the board taking a picture.

Once home, you immediately called the number of the said employer and quickly got a response. A melodic voice explained to you all requirements and you both set a time to meet for the first time. You wondered tho, that voice seemed oddly familiar, yet you couldn't quite put your finger on it. Not only that but the requirements seemed unusual as well. No photos on the way and a silent pact to not mention what happens in and out of the house were a bit...much.

Skipping to the said day, you changed into some casual wear and headed to the address that was sent to you. Once you entered the rich district you started to put one and one together. The person was most likely a celebrity wanting to keep their privacy and of course, you would not disappoint them.

Once outside the door, you searched for a doorbell, yet could find none. You decided to wait for the person only for the big gate at the entrance opened up and startled you to death. Stupid rich people and their fancy technology, you whispered and entered the long walk to the house, the gate closing automatically behind you.

From the distance, you could make out a figure standing at the doorway with glasses on and a somewhat purple robe or so. You questioned your decision but still walked up to the door. A dimpleish smile greeted you and you did recognize the face in front of you. You laughed sarcastically, not quite believing it yourself that in front of you stood Jung Hoseok grinning like the pop star cutie he was.

Fricking out was not really your type, but you did give him a smile in return. You always thought that BTS were nice people and also that they would be friendly to anyone. This turned out to be the case as well, you decided, while J-hope took you on a tour around the house.

"Aaaand here is the little baby that needs the attention," J-hope said pointing to a still closed door.

Once he opened it you immediately made eye contact with the small creature. You both stood still, looking into each other's eyes before you quickly turned yours into a glare, showing him who's the boss and then throwing yourself on the floor with him following into a playful wrestling match.

Poor Hoseok was beyond confused, yet also impressed by your amazing bounding skills. He laughed at you both before preparing to leave the house. He said his goodbye and left you with your newly made best buddy.

On the way to work, he called the coffee shop to take down the flyer. He sighs in relief, finally being able to find someone who was apparently trustworthy. He remembered getting through many, many people and had to even call the police a couple of times, due to saesang fans that unintentionally invaded his home. Luckily he could now be at ease with you around.

Days turned into weeks and the more time you spent with the dog, the more attached you got to it, somehow in the last month you and Mickey got really close, so much that you two seemed to have the same mind. Hoseok soon got caught in your bond too since upon coming home and end your work time, Mickey would always bark, not wanting you to leave him and the only thing calming him down was to stay with him until he had fallen asleep. Due to that, you and Hoseok became friends.

It was a Sunday morning when Hoseok got visited by his mother unexpectedly.

"Hoseok, look at you, you are already 24 and don't even have a girlfriend. You will die alone if this continues. I arranged a meeting with you for Friday evening. Make sure to impress her," his mother said without giving him a chance to deny. Then again, he couldn't really deny much anyways, she would never listen. Further thinking, it has actually been a very long time since he had gone on a date with the busy schedule of the group.

Friday came along and Hoseok called you, asking if you could stay in until the next day. You blushed at his bold statement and agreed anyways. You knew Hoseok well enough now and you were sure he didn't have any hidden motives behind the statement, yet part of you wished there was. Somehow in the middle of getting to know each other, you had also started developing feelings for him, that you tried keeping away successfully.

Upon arriving you walked into the house without waiting for an escort. It was usual for you to just budge into his house by now without a care in the world, this time, however, was destined to be different as a tall, beautifully dressed girl stood behind Hoseok, afraid of the growling Mickey.

'Is she really afraid of a lap dog?' you asked yourself, but quickly moved towards Mickey who was now wiggling his tail at you, not even caring about the target he was focusing just seconds ago.

You took Mickey in your lap, while sitting on the floor and glanced up at the two well-dressed individuals right in front of you. Sadness rushed through your emotion pool as you saw them. They sure did look good together. Mickey started growling again as they turned around to leave, almost like a warning sign. You calmed him down, somehow and you both got back to your usual routine.

It was past 8 when Hoseok and his date had arrived at the hotel restaurant his mother had booked them to. It was a very classy kind of arrangement, something that was expected for a wealthy family to dine at. The waiter led them to their table, opening a bottle of French champagne while doing so. He and his date sat down at the table, with him feeling extremely uncomfortable.

"Listen... If we end up together then the girl and the dog will vanish, " the beautiful red-headed said. Hoseok nodded, obeying his mothers wish to behave. If they do end up liking each other they will manage this problem.

The waiter from earlier came along and asked for the order, to which Sojin shortly replied. 'How could this woman live on tomato salad?' Hoseok asked himself and ordered something light as well. His mind went back to you and how you had chugged down two bins of chicken wings by yourself. He snickered and the sight.

He noticed the difference between Sojin and you. She definitely was skinnier and more elegant than you, but he found it kind of bothersome. It was obvious that you went to the gym regularly, but your body construction tended more, put into today's terms, thicc. This was somehow more attractive to him.

Once realizing his thought trace he started blushing, reddening his ears. When did he start thinking about you that way? He asked himself. Sojin noticed his frustration and smirking to herself, she did lay a good impression or so she thought.

Once the main dish was finished, the waiter offered the couple homemade fortune cookies. This made Sojin laugh. 'Such a non-luxury dish in such a high fashion place.'

Hoseok decided to try one and munching on while reading the small paper inside.

"Love is when your pet's like them at first sight"

Hoseok coughed, suddenly getting cookie crumbles stuck in his neck. He didn't expect that kind of statement. Once arriving at the bathroom, to which he apologized to Sojin for, he started washing his heated face a couple times trying to get you out of his head.

A waterfall of memories filled him as if it had hit him for the very first time that he had emotion for the one sitting on the couch and probably sobbing to some drama. He compared your laugh with Sojin's and how hers missed your little squeak at the end. He remembered how good it felt when you both goofed around and played with Mickey. But most importantly, he recalled the disappointed, sad expression you had once you saw him with Sojin. By then it had hit him, that you liked him back.

Hoseok quickly said it's goodbye to Sojin, calling her a cab before making his way as fast as possible to his home. Once there he busted into the living room, where you sat down with a bucket of ice cream crying your heart out. You jumped up from his sudden entrance. You were glad a drama was playing so you could totally blame your emotionally outburst on that and not on the obvious date thing Hoseok was attending.

With large steps he made his way towards you and grabbing your face, kissing it hard after glancing at the shimmering tears in your eyes.

Right beside the couch Micky was smiling, pretending to sleep. It took him a lot of work, but in the end, he managed it pretty well.
