Rebel Team V

Mission Sig

"I can't take this anymore!" Keith's angered voice shouted. Ever since they started this whole mission to stop Zarkon, by becoming paladins of Voltron, Keith has been getting more and more agitated by the day. He wanted to get into action and start rebelling against the empire. He heard of a few rebel groups and how they go up against the empire. He's been itching to do the same. With all the team work exercises they've been doing and bonding with their lions, Keith wanted to get some action. Keith wanted to take down the empire so no one else could get hurt. So Keith went to Allura and Shiro. "Come on please! Can't we do something other than training!?"

"I don't know Keith... you all still might not be able to form Voltron." Allura bit her lip. She felt like she was forgetting something and that feeling increased with Keith asking for them to go out into that action.

"We should probably train more. We may be good fighters, but we're still rookie rebels." Shiro said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Lance, Pidge and Hunk walked in.

"Well I was just asking about finally fighting the Galra." Keith said, glaring at Allura and Shiro.

"We can't rush this, not when we can't form Voltron." Shiro denied.

"Why not?" Lance asked. "Didn't Allura tell you? The lion themselves can be used to fight the Galra. The lions can work together just as well on their own as they can when they've formed Voltron."

"I don't recall ever saying that." Allura said.

"Coran told me." Lance shrugged.

"So we can just fight in the lions, no forming Voltron necessary?" Hunk asked.

"I think it's more like Voltron is more powerful than when the lion are separate, however the lions working together are still efficient in a fight." Pidge surmised.

"Yes, but you would all have a better chance if you formed Voltron." Allura sighed.

"Fret not my dear sister!" Lance smiled widely, making Allura crack a smile as well. "We'll just try doing a mission!"

"You mean one of our Team V missions?" Keith raised an eye brow.

"Yeah! It would be great practice!" Hunk agreed with Lance.

"Sure why not?" Pidge asked as she started typing on her computer. "There's this one that's asking for us to take down this guy called Sig. He kidnaps kids and sells them to people as slaves." Pidge said, disgusted with this man. Lance looked over Pidge's shoulder and at the screen.

"Allura..."

"Absolutely not!" She cried out. Everyone looked at Allura, seeing her angry expression.

"Allura come on we both know he has to go." Lance said sternly.

"But-"

"Allura it's fine." Lance's gaze hardened a little.

"Fine." Allura relented and stomped away.

"Uh... what was that about?" Hunk asked, glancing at Lance.

"Don't worry about it! The past is the past!" Lance said, faking a smile, his hard exterior went away in mere seconds.

"Alright let's come up with a plan then." Shiro nodded, casting a glance at Lance, who was looking at the picture of Sig with a deathly glare.

Later on Shiro was knocking on Allura's door. A faint 'Come in' could be heard and he entered. He blushed a little at the sight of Allura wearing an Altean princess gown an a circlet that made it obvious she was once a princess and her long white wavy hair was let down and free from its bun. She stood in front of a mirror, adjust any little thing that wasn't right.

Shiro coughed. "Uh Allura?"

"Hm, yes Shiro?" She asked, recognizing his voice right away.

"Are you okay? You were really upset about that mission..." Shiro asked her.

Allura sighed sadly. "It's about Lance... this Sig person... kidnapped Lance and sold him away."

"What happened?" Shiro asked, showing a concerned look.

"I'm not sure... Lance doesn't talk about it much." Allura sighed. "It was only just a couple of what you call years, that I had taken Lance in. When I found him, he had just escaped from people that were horrible to him. At least that's what he told me."

"Then that's even more of a reason to take on this mission." Shiro said, eyes lighting with determination. "We'll make sure this guy doesn't sell another kid."

"You're right." Allura sighed. "But it's Lance I'm worried about."

"What do you mean?" Shiro raised an eyebrow.

"Because I think Sig did something that may have made Lance wanting revenge."
