After saying goodbye to Martin I walked inside the house with my older brother, Wes. As soon as I got inside I discovered my friend Sophie waiting inside.

"Surprise!" She hugged me tightly.

"Sophie," I muttered surprised. "Hey!"

"I've missed you!" She continued.

"It's only been two days," I laughed.

"Two terrible days at school without you! Guess what? Dave started going out with Gina! Then Alex caught her making out with Christian and Dave punched him! Miss Morgan tried to separate them and one of them, I can't remember who, punched her too! Accidentally, of course... but it was crazy!" She sighed, "Anyways. Oh gods, I'm so rude! How have you been? How was it? Meeting Martin I mean?"

I smiled, "I missed you too, Sophie."

"Is he cute?"

"Adorable," I whispered and winked an eye making my way to the kitchen.

"I'm so happy for you, Mel. I always believed in you," She told me sincerely while I served myself some orange juice.

And it was true. Sophie had always supported my acting career, she had been the one who had always tried to cheer me up whenever I felt down after being rejected for an audition.

"And, gods... Martin Freeman," She whistled, "I still don't really get what you see in him, but sure! After more than a year annoying me and not talking about anything else but him... I guess you deserved this chance."

"He doesn't know that, though," I confessed.

"What do you mean?"

"He doesn't know I'm a fan."

"Why?"

"'Cause it would be weird. I don't want to ruin this. The opportunity, I mean! I don't want him to think of me of a girl who's mouth waters for him."

"But you are that girl." Sophie arched her eyebrows ironically.

"Yeah, okay. But that was before meeting him. I want to get to know him better."

"Wait, Mel. It's not like you... like him, huh?" She asked me.

I shrugged. "Maybe I do."

"He's like 30 years older than you," Sophie pointed out.

"Not 30! Ugh... I don't know Soph, he's great." I mumbled.

"My dad is too. And you don't like him."

"What should we watch?" Soph squealed. She had just called her parents to ask them if she could stay for the night, and they let her.

"Black Panther?" I asked.

"You just want to see Martin, huh?" She raised an eyebrow.

I grinned, "Maybe..."

"Good morning sleepyheads," my mom walked inside and turned on the lights.

"Five more minutes..." I muttered stuffing my face in the pillow.

"You have to go to set. And you, Sophie, you can't miss class!"
