Michael's POV
I walk out of the bathroom to see Rory laying on her bed blaring 'fluorescent adolescent' By the arctic monkeys.
"YOU USED TO GET IT IN YOUR FISH NETS" She yells the lyrics, oblivious to my presence in the room as she's on her phone.
"NOW YOU ONLY GET IT IN YOUR NIGHT DRESS, DISCARDED ALL THE NAUGHTY NIGHTS FOR NICENESS" she bobs her head along to the music.
"LANDED IN A VERY COMMON CRISIS" I yell the lyrics as loud as I can, making her jump and her phone fall and hit her in the face. she screams and leaps of the bed looking at me with wide eyes before falling about laughing.
I double over laughing at her reaction.
"Michael...what....the...fuck!..." she giggles from the the floor. I can't do anything but laugh as a reply. "I...hate...you" she giggles
I pout at her "no Rory you wuv me" I say in a baby voice. she rolls her eyes playfully
"Unfortunately, yes I do" she gets up and hits my shoulder whilst giggling.
"Yayyyyyy" I throw my arms up and cheer.
the moment is ruined when her phone starts to ring in the corner of the room.
"Hello?" she answers it.
"Wait what?"
"Ok I'll let him know"
"alright"
"When's an ok time to visit?"
"2 hours ok. we'll be there then, thanks"
She hangs up the phone.
Rory's POV
"2 hours ok. we'll be there then, thanks" I hang up the phone.
I turn around and see Michael staring at me, his face is pale and his eyes are huge. he must of guessed that was to do with his parents.
"Wh-who was that?" He coughs nervously.
"That was my mum Michael"
"Oh? I-I thought she was downstairs..." his voice trails off.
"Ye she was but after we finished talking she got a call from the hospital...about...about your parents"
He looks at me with pained eyes and all I want to do is hug him, but I need to finish what it is I have to say "she went down there and uhh, she just told me what's happened...We can go down there in 2 hours..." I can't bring myself to say what's happened, I can't bear to be the one that hurts him.
"Rory...whats happened?"
