I have memories from my childhood of a girl with pink hair. She was a little goofy and way to easily excited, but she saw the good in everyone. She became the most important person in my life, and I somehow managed to fall in love with her. But then she disappeared. No one knew where she went. Some people believed she left Japan after her mom died. But other people believed she was dead. I believed that I'd see her again, but it had been four years and she was still no where to be seen.
After 2 years of waiting for her, I was finally able to move on and accept the fact that I'd probably never see her again, but I still thought of her often. I guess the only time I really stopped thinking about her was when I was with Noroi . She was quieter than my childhood friend, and she always seemed to look at people as if she was judging them. Her eyes seemed cold and emotionless and she rarely ever smiled, but for some reason I convinced myself that I was in love with her. Was it because I really did love her, or was it because her pink hair reminded me of a certain girl from my past?

"This group could ver easily destroy all of Japan, based on what we have heard", a man with dark red hair announced to the group of students. Noroi rolled her eyes in annoyance and stood up. "Where are you going?", Seiji whispered at the pink haired girl. "I'm leaving", she replied emotionlessly, " this is boring". She flipped her hair and walked towards the door before being stopped by a man with blue hair. "Where do you think you're going?", he asked standing in between
Noroi and the door. "Anywhere but here", she replied coldly, "this is lame"."We're sorry, but you're not allowed to leave. This is an important cause that we need help with", Blue explained. Noroi rolled her eyes again, "I don't care about your stupid cause! Besides there's nothing you all cam do about it. If Japan gets destroyed, it gets destroyed". With that Blue sighed and stepped away allowing her to leave. She turned around in the door way and directed her gaze at Seiji. "Want to come with me?", she asked in a sweeter voice than before. He looked at her, and then back towards the front of the class. "I think I'll stay here", he replied with a soft smile. The pink haired girl gave a nod and then left the room.
Everyone directed their attention back to the front of the room, and Phantom began speaking again. "They've been working on a project they call the "killing doll" project", he began, " supposedly they've been training a girl for the past four years to be able to take down this entire town". Multiple gasps were heard around the room as Blue struggled to calm everyone down. "We heard the "killing doll" is around your age", Blue said to the class, "we want know if you'll help us take her down".
"You're going to do what?!", Noroi asked with wide eyes and a slightly angered expression. "I agreed to fight the killing doll", Seiji responded calmly. He didn't quite understand why she was so upset. It was his decision to make; not hers. "Why?" Noroi asked with a still angered expression. "Because I don't want this town to get destroyed", He explained. Noroi rolled her eyes, "who the heck cares if this town or all of Japan gets destroyed? We can move somewhere else!". "But what's happening is wrong!", Seiji argued. "Then let someone else fix it!", Noroi snapped. Seiji sighed. He'd never understand her. "Listen", he started," this is something I want to do. Can you accept that?". She rolled her eyes again, but eventually nodded. "Thank you", he said seriously, " I love you". She gave him a cold glare before responding. "I know", she said coldly before walking away.
The next morning Seiji and the rest of the people who would fight the "killing doll" arrived at the school early. Some people came to support the fighters with encouraging words and smiles. Seiji easily spotted his mother and his little sister, but Noroi was no where to be seen. Of course she isn't here. She'd only be here if this was something she believed in. He noticed his little sister waving excitedly, so he smiled and waved back, trying to ignore the fact that the girl he would be marrying in a few months didn't even bother to show up. He eventually decided it didn't matter. He was doing this for himself; not Noroi.
"Thank you for showing up today", a deep voice announced, silencing the crowd. Blue stood there in the middle of everyone giving a small smile before he continued speaking. "Those of you who came for support, we thank you very much", he went on," and those of you who came to fight, come with me we have lots to do". And with that the cheering continued and the fighters followed Blue into the school.
Each person was handed a uniform and told to change into them. The uniforms looked like those of a group of soldiers. They were long black coats
with pants to match. A small patch on the right sleeve had a thorn like symbol on it, and there was a loop on the hip of the coat to hold a sword. It was a little funny to think that all these people were needed to fight one person, but at the same time it was scary. How dangerous could the "killing doll" be?....
After the fighters had changed into their uniforms, they were lead back out of the school. Seiji glanced back at the crowd and noticed Noroi still wasn't there. Don't let it bother you. Blue stood back in the middle of the crowd, and motioned for everyone to be quiet again. "Thank you for your attention", he started seriously," now listen, I know most of you are probably confused as to why we have so many people to fight one person. The truth is we've never met this "killing doll" girl, so we don't know how much of a threat she really is. But we do not think we'll need all of you to fight her. However the organization she's working for could very well destroy all of Japan. Our plan is to have one of you fight the "killing doll", and once she is defeated, the rest of you will fight against them. Whoever ends up fighting her, we promise we won't let anything bad happen to you. The rest of us will be watching you from a safe place, and we'll send back up if things get too dangerous. So....do we have any volunteers?". Silent murmurs were heard all around, but no one dared volunteer. They all just whispered back and forth, waiting to see who the person fighting the killing doll would be. And then before he knew what he was doing, Seiji raised his hand.
Gasps were heard as everyone turned to face Seiji. "I'll do it", he spoke out still feeling as if he couldn't control his own movements," I'll fight the killing doll". And with just those people cheered. He still felt in a daze, and he was still unable to move. But what just happened was real. And that's when he realized he wasn't fighting for himself; he was fighting for the girl from his childhood....
