prologue.

"Hey Ash, need some help with that?" Calum asks when Ashton picks up a box. "No thanks mate." he smiles and walks out of the room. Ashton puts down the box as his phone went off.

"Hello Ashton speaking." Ashton hates the fact that he needs to pick up the phone like that, but he needs to do it because he can't see who's calling him.

"Ashton? Hi this is Lauren."

A smile appears on his face as he hears the voice of his girlfriend.

"Hey beautiful, what's up?"

The fact that she's not responding makes Ashton a bit curious why she is calling. She never actually calls him because she knows he hates phone calls.

"I-I need to talk to you, where are you at the moment"

Calum who is now standing next to Ashton looks at his face expressions, knowing something is up.

"We're just packing our stuff in our old house."

"I'm there in two minutes."

Those two minutes felt like ages for Ashton. He was sitting on a bench in front of their old house. Calum and Ashton were in the middle of a moving out. They were done with their old house and felt like buying a new house.

After being in deep thoughts about what Lauren might tell him, she finally arrives.

"Ash." he hears her call his name. He looks up not sure where to look until he feels a hand on his knee, knowing she sits next to him.

"What's up babe? You're acting nervous. Did I do something wrong?" his voice shaking a bit, not knowing what's going on.

"I'm not really sure how to tell you." her hands are trembling as she looks at Ashton.

"I'm pregnant?" she says after a couple of minutes.

Ashton his face is slowly falling down tears forming in his eyes.

"B-but we never.."

"It's not yours."

Not knowing how to answer he keeps his head down. Feeling the tears spreading around his cheeks.

"Ash I'm so sorry." her hands reaching his back trying to comfort him.

"I d-don't get it, why?" he gets out of his lips. His always so happy voice sounds so sad and quiet.

Lauren is now sitting in front of Ashton, seeing his hurt face. She hears footsteps behind her, assuming it's Calum who has no idea what is going on.

"I think you should leave Lauren." Calum his voice sounds mad even though he has no clue. But assuming that his best friend is crying, she did something wrong.

As she stands up and walks away she hears Ashton say one thing more.

"We're done Lauren.."

[A/N] so this is the prologue of my first English fanfiction and I really hope you like it.

The whole story will be probably in 3rd person idk why but yeah.
