Raindrups are falling down as Michael looks out of his window. The thoughts in his mind are keeping him busy so he doesn't even notice his phone rang. He plays with his fingers while thinking about school. He hasn't been there for a week, because he's not feeling well. His thoughts are being interrupted rudly as his father comes upstairs yelling. The door opens and Michael tences up a little, not knowing why his father is so angry.
''I am so ashamed of you.'' he yells, letting Michael show his phone. On the screen is a picture of him and Calum giving each other a hug. It was yesterday. They hung out at a park in town, just for fun. ''He's just a friend, I'm not gay!'' Michael yells back but his father didn't listen. Before he knew he felt his father's hand burn against his cheek. His eyes dilate as he sees his father packing a suitcase and throwing some of Michaels clothes in it. ''What the fuck are you doing?'' he yells again. His father ignores him and continues packing his clothes and shoes. When he's done he throws it downstairs as he almost does the same with Michael. His mother is just staring at them, a little teary but does nothing. ''Mom? You can't let him do this.'' he hoped his mother would protect him, like she always did, but she didn't. His father opens the frontdoor and throws the suitcase out. He pushes Michael out aswell along with a coat. ''Don't you ever dear to come back. You little fag!'' and with that, he shuts the door.
People who are walking past are looking horrified at the scene. ''I hate you!'' he yells one more time looking at the house. He packs up the suitcase and coat, and starts walking. He kicks against every lamppost he walks past. In the distance he sees Ariel's house fade up so he decided to go there.
As he arrives at her house, he quietly knocks on the door. Ariel's mother opens the door and looks confused at Michael and his suitcase. ''What's wrong dearie?'' and that's where Michael starts to tear up. She wraps her arms around Michael who is crying unconditionally. When he finally can speak again, he tells her the story. ''My father threw me out because I'm hanging out with a guy.'' he stutters. Anger and sympathy is going through Ariel's mothers eyes as she lets him in. He walks into the room and sees Ariel sitting on the couch, busy on her phone. She hasn't even noticed he was in there until her mother coughs. She jumps up when she sees Michael cried. Not even knowing why, she holds him and Michael starts crying again. ''He's staying here for a couple of days.'' is the only thing her mother says.
"I don't know why but he keeps attracting me." Michael sobs. Ariel's mother comes back with a blanket for Michael. He goes laying on the couch, still in shock of what happened today. "I'll get you some tea Mike." her mother says and walks to the kitchen. Ariel looks at him from head to toe. He looks devastated. "Do you like him?" Ariel simply asks. "I'm not sure, he doesn't like me so I-"
"Do you like him Michael?" she asks again.
"Yes."

Michael didn't answer his phone when Calum called him. He was wondering if he wanted to hang out again, he had so much fun yesterday. Calum called him again, but still he didn't get an answer. He decided to walk to his house and ask him personally. "I'll be right back Ash, going to Mike for a minute." he says while knocking on his door. He received an 'okay' mumble.
As he walks to Michaels house he saw Lauren, Ashton's ex-girlfriend, walking with hand in hand and a bit of a tummy. When their eyes meet, a guilty look was sent to Calum, but he decided to ignore it and walk further.
When he arrived at Michael's house he knocked on the door and waited patiently. The door was opened by his mother who looked terrible. It looked like she has been crying all day and could start crying any moment again. "You need to leave Calum, he threw Michael out. If he sees you you're doomed." she said quickly and shut the door.
Not knowing what to do he just ran away. Where could he be? He was not answering his phone. He was really worried. He had no idea where Ariel lived. Assuming he would probably be there, Calum walked home again. When he came home he started playing on his bass, but the only thing that keeps him busy was a question. Why did they threw Michael out?
He could definitely stay at their house. He gets a warm feeling of the thought that Michael would live in the same house as him. But the feeling left when he thought he has no family anymore. Well, he has but they abandoned him.
"Calum are you okay?" Ashton asks when trying to make his way to Calum. When he sits next to him, he wraps his arm around the boy. "I don't know Ash. Michael is gone."
Ashton gives him a confused look, not knowing what he means. "They threw him out, and I don't know where he is, if he's okay." he tells him concerned. "You like him, don't you?" Calums eyes widen a bit after Ashton asks him this. "I-"
Ashton gives him a look, already knowing that his friend is falling for the boy.
"But he doesn't like boys so-"
"You'll never know Cal, you'll never know. He'll be fine, he's probably at Ariel. You can text her if you want to, I have her number."
"Thanks Ash, I'm so happy you're my friend. I would not know what to do without you."
