Mitch’s POV
Kirstie’s phone call scared me so much. I did as I was told so once the rest of the gang arrived at Scott and I’s apartment, we left for the hospital. When we got on the road, I was bombarded with questions I had no answers to.
“What happened?” Esther asked.
“I don’t…” I started to reply but Kevin cut me off.
“Who was driving?” he asked.
“They weren’t…”
“It’s Scott’s fault if Kirstie is hurt.” Avi yelled angrily.
“Avi!” Esther yelled, astonished at what he said.
“She isn’t hurt. It’s Scott.” I said sadly.
I can’t believe one of my best friends is hurt. I hope it’s not too critical.
Kirstie’s POV
I’ve been pacing around the waiting room waiting for Mitch and the others to arrive.
“Family for Scott Hoying?” a nurse called.
I stopped in my tracks and raised my hand.
“He’s okay and he can leave around noon tomorrow. Would you like to see him?”
“Can I, please?”
“Of course. Here is a pass and his room number. My name is Molly so if you need anything just ask.”
“Okay, thanks Molly. Also I have four friends coming, can they come up too?” I asked.
“Of course. I need their first and last name for the visitor passes.” Molly replied with a smile.
“Okay. There is Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola, Avi Kaplan, and Esther Kaplan. My name is Kirstie by the way.”
“Okey dokey. Kirstie, I will get the passes ready, now hurry to see Scott. He might be waking up soon.”
“Thanks again Molly. See you later.” I turn on my heels and headed towards the elevator.
