Mitch’s POV
Poor Kirst. She’s been here for hours just waiting for Scott to wake up again.
“Kirst. Go home and rest. I’ll call you when he wake up.” I said to her quietly trying not to wake the others.
She nodded and got up and kissed Scott’s forehead before she left.
‘How fast would the car would be going to do so much damage? Did it even try to stop?’ All sorts of questions were going through my mind and it made me dizzy. I needed coffee so I got up. Everything was spinning so I held on to the edge of Scott’s bed. Once I got myself together, I tried walking again but I got dizzy and fell.
“Mitch!” I heard Esther yelled before everything went black.
Scott’s POV
I heard a lot loud noises and I wanted them to stop.
“Stop yelling!” I said loudly while sitting up.
I open my eyes to see Kevin, Avi, and Esther looking at me wide-eyed.
“Mitch? Is he okay?” I said trying to get up but stopped after having a sharp pain in my side.
“Woah! Chill Scott. He is just exhausted, that’s all.” Kevin said while helping me get comfortable again.
“Kirstie…Scott…Call Kirst.” Mitch mumbled.
“What did he say?” I asked Esther as she strokes his hair.
“I think he said for you to call Kirstie.” She replied
Kirstie’s POV
‘Will you marry me Kirstie Maldonado?’ Scott asked.
The crowd chanted ‘Say yes!’ and that is what I did. Scott slipped at twelve-carrot diamond ring on my finger and kissed me.
I heard a gunshot and Scott fell backwards. His eyes filled with tears.
‘I love you Kirstie. I always have. Be strong my love.’ Scott said with his dying breath.
‘No!’ I screamed and ran over to Scott’s lifeless body and just cried while hugging his body like it would help him come back.
“No!” I scream as I jolt up from my laying position.
My phone starts ringing; it’s Mitch.
“Hey Mitch!” I said trying to sound happy.
“I’m awake.” The voice said.
Scott!
“I’m coming baby. I’ll be right over.” I told him before I hung up.
