Love isn't something I find a lot of pleasure in writing about, because everyone has written something about it. Whether it's a chorus to a song, some quotes in a journal, or even just two initials written on the back of a napkin; everyone has a story about love.
When it comes to my story though, love has always been a difficult topic to write about, because I see love from every angle, from the joy when it's there, to the pain when it leaves. The pain that love can cause makes me the most poetic I think, up until now recently.
I hate to sound childish and overly optimistic, but when you find the love of your life, you can't see to stop writing about them (when you're a poet at least). But my love is something different, he's indescribable and overbearing my mind with words that don't exist; there's no easy way to describe him, but I think I'll start doing better here soon.
I have a few poems I'm working on at the moment, and they'll be posted here soon. I'm also working on a non-fiction love story between my boyfriend and I, because all my friends say it's a stupidly cheesy "Disney-like" love story.
