Grayson's house is quiet and empty. His parents arrived in New Jersey a few hours ago and won't be back for another week. The birds sing songs to each other outside, the sun peeks through his blinds illuminating two bodies laying closely together.
Grayson wakes hearing light snores coming from besides him, he feels an arm wrapped warmly around him. He didn't know Ethan stayed the night but he's glad he did, he feels protected when he's around. He opens his eyes to look at Ethan's face in deep sleep, his lips are slightly parted as he lets out small breaths. Grayson thinks of how harmless he looks when he's asleep, he's usually intimidating and has a stone cold expression. Grayson snuggles lightly into him inhaling his scent.
Ethan feels two arms hugging into him tightly, he loves how needy Grayson is for his touch. He smirks as an idea pops through his head. He swiftly moves his hand down Grayson's back slipping a warm hand under the band of his underwear slightly pinching his ass. Grayson's eyes quickly open in a confused state, he was just about to doze off. He peers up looking at Ethan with questioning eyes while he blushes. Ethan smiles at him and puts a hand under his chin bringing him into a welcoming kiss.
"Good Morning." He mumbles against his lips. Grayson repeats the phrase as they lay in each other's embrace before he gets up leaving Ethan's chest bare.
"You stayed the night?" He asks sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Well you didn't exactly give me a choice." Ethan responds smile smugly.
Grayson blushes thinking of his embarrassing habit of speaking to Ethan in his sleep. He smiles and crawls back to him.
"I'm glad you stayed." Grayson confesses with a kiss.
Now that Grayson's parents are gone, they have the house to themselves. Ethan roams around freely not having to worry about hiding from his boyfriend's parents. He stands across the kitchen island staring at Grayson poke at his breakfast.
"You know what I just realized?" Grayson says interrupting the silence.
"Hmm?" Ethan hums biting into a pancake on his fork.
"We only ever hang around this house, my room specifically." He pauses staring at his plate before continuing.
"We've never been on a real... date." Grayson says while playing with his food, a flush of red appears on his cheeks unwillingly.
Ethan smiles at how he blushes so easily.
We are dating, usually couples go on dates. He thinks to himself.
"Well, do you want to go on a date?" Ethan questions wanting to fluster him more.
"I don't know, I mean- only if you want to." Grayson shrugs trying his best to appear nonchalant as he looks up at Ethan with questioning eyes.
Ethan laughs and walks over to him. He ruffles his hair and hugs him tightly from behind.
"If you want to go on a date. Then it's a date." Ethan says leaving kisses on his head and his cheek.
"Okay." Grayson smiles with one eye squinted open while Ethan plants his face with small kisses. He laughs and squirms at the childish action.
"Okay stop." He commands.
"Why?" Ethan questions running his hands under Grayson's shirt, his fingers feel across his torso.
