"You were destined for the glory, the honor, and the fame. I was destined for the bullet, to be the gun with no name. - fate's been playing the long game on us, sweetheart." - a.j

Sebastian grabbed my hand as we walked out of the training room and even though we were going into battle, I was calm. And I know I shouldn't be because there is a chance that we will lose and that everybody will die, but I had hope that we were going to win. Not because I am this half breed that has the power to destroy them, but because we stand together as a team. We all have the same goal and that is for them to lose, even the werewolves are on our side. Which I didn't think was possible because I thought that they were our mortal enemies.

I had no idea where we were going to the battle, but Sebastian apparently knew so I just let him follow the way. He led me out of the castle and through the woods that made shivers run down my spine because it's eerie to go through it. I couldn't explain it but I felt like there was something, or someone watching me. Maybe it's just me being paranoid but I couldn't shake this feeling.

I was glad that Sebastian was with me because I didn't know if I could through this by myself. I couldn't see the army that was ahead of us because the woods were surrounded by fog that I could barely see in front of me. I looked above me at the sky and I realized that dark clouds covered the sun which made me think that it was going to storm. The air was chilly while I could feel my skin start to shiver and I cursed at myself for not bringing a jacket. But that's not important now as the only thought in my mind were how I was going to kill Agnes.

It felt like forever walking through the woods and I was finally able to see the other vampires that were in front of us. Suddenly I felt like a pair of glowing eyes was watching me so I turned my head to see who it was. And to my surprise, I saw what looked like a hundred pairs of crimson eyes staring at me. I looked over to Sebastian because I had no idea if they were going to attack me or not like the last time I met one of them.

"Don't worry love. They're not going to hurt you." he assured me. I nodded my head at Sebastian while I darted my eyes at all the wolves that were standing all around me. I didn't know what to do but give them a slight nod to tell them that I am on their team. I looked at one of them who I believed was Thomas, whom I met before.

"Are you sure about that? They look like they are about to bite my tongue off with their teeth." I asked him.

"They just naturally look like they are ready to kill anyone." he admitted as he gave me a slight smile. I narrowed my eyes at him for a second before looking straight ahead. I took a deep breath as we started to walk ahead, trying to catch up to everyone else.

I could feel the werewolves footsteps from behind me as we were walking and I couldn't deny the pit in my stomach. I know that they were on our side but I could feel that they had a lot more power than all of us. They had the ability to do more damage than we could ever do and maybe that's what made me uncomfortable around them.

I don't know how long we were walking but it felt like hours. Thunder started to roar loudly as it made me jump a little from the noise and I started to feel drops of rain fall down slowly. Eventually, it started pouring heavily, making my hair stick to my skin. I always loved when it rained, but it was chilly and damp in the woods which didn't make what we are doing any better.

I let out a deep breath as we were walking through the woods with the pouring rain and I tried to contain my annoyance. I crossed my arms over my chest because my whole body was shivering and I had to keep warm. I had no idea why I feeling cold because I was supposed to be dead. And the dead don't feel cold but then I realized that I am the only person in the entire world that can feel like this. That I had the qualities as a vampire such as drinking blood and being sensitive to sunlight but I also felt what normal humans do like the cold or my heart beating rapidly.
