"You died screaming. Yet the monster who took your place was silent. -You are a weapon, and weapons do not weep." - Steve Rigers

I was sitting at the table by my window and scrolling through all the photos of my parents on my phone when I heard a knock on the door. I glanced up from my cell phone and turned my head. "Come in." I said loudly as I looked at my phone again. The door opened and I could recognize who it was without looking behind me. I heard the familiar footsteps that dragged the floor and the scent that reminded me of the woods after it rained.

"Hm, you actually knock this time. That's a first." I claimed as I scrolled to a picture of my parents and me on the beach. I could sense the irritation from behind me and I smile a little bit because I love making him annoyed. Sebastian.

"Well you did tell me to knock next time, so I did." Sebastian mentioned. I turned my head and realized that he was standing over me with his arms on his back. He formed a small smile and I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Now what are you doing?" he asked as his smile dropped and pulled the chair that was next to me. He sat down as he peered over my shoulder so he can look at what I was doing.

"Looking through pictures of my parents when I was little." I admitted. I looked at a picture of my parents were hugging me as I was blowing my birthday candles on the cake. I remember this photo because it was my sixth birthday party that my parents planned for me. It was Disney princess themed and I remember how I dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I showed Sebastian the photo of us and I watched as his smile appeared on his face again. He grabbed the phone so he could get a better look at the picture.

"This is adorable, Elora." Sebastian said as he looked at me. He gave my phone back and I put it down on the table. I noticed that his smile dropped once again as he put his warm hands on mine. I furrowed my brows and I tried not to react to his simple touch. It was hard to because I could feel my heart beating faster as he was staring at me. I noticed sympathy in his eyes as he caressed my hand gently.

"Elora, I'm terribly sorry for what you've been through." he continued.

"Thanks, Sebastian." I whispered as I gave him a small smile. I avoided his gaze by looking at my phone.

I noticed that his hand left mine as he set his arms om the chair. "What was it like? Seeing your parents again in that place?" he asked. For a moment, I looked down as I remembered my mother's familiar scent and my father's round glasses. I glanced at Sebastian with a serious expression on my face. I hesitated for a moment because I was trying to find the words of what it was like seeing them.

"It was like they were really there, but they weren't." I admitted. "My parents wanted me to go with them and they told me that it was better for everybody if I stayed with them." I finished.

"Jesus. he whispered as he put his head down for a minute. I bit my lip as I tried to find the words that have been on my mind ever since I came here.

"Sebastian, can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Hmm." he said as was looking in the other direction. He leaned back in his chair as he wasn't paying attention to what I was saying.

"Why are you so sweet to me?" I questioned. I noticed as his gaze turned to me as he realized what I was asking. I raised my eyebrows and crossed my arms as I waited for him to speak. He formed a smirk on his face as he stared at me.

"You just remind me of someone I used to love." Sebastian admitted. I furrowed my brows as I looked at him but he was staring at the wall. We were silent for a moment as I couldn't find the words to say. My mind was racing with so many questions.
