The World as of Now...

It was a sobering thing to think about, but Volt thought about it nonetheless. The world was, at this point, two seperate areas. The Alola Region, a land of peace, fruitfulness, and joy, and then the Mainland, a hell hole where every low life Pokemon stayed, prying on the unfortunate ones who couldn't get off the Mainland. That brought Volt back to the beginning. All the way back to right after the Legendary War. All those events that led up to this moment now. All those moments that led up to Volt not wanting to go back. It was a long story to say the least.

Almost right after the war everyone was in shock. The devastation that occurred almost instantly. Everyone called it a war, but in reality it was more of a quick, lightning fast battle. The sudden destruction that dropped on the innocent Pokemon below was unmatchable by anything Wraith could have even imagined. Destruction, fear, shock, anguish, death. All of it summed up into that one word. Death. So much of it. Most of the places in the world had been destroyed, Brawlert City was one of the few that didn't get fully destroyed and buried in the battle. Eventually Lucario became his old assuring self and took control. He led everyone calmingly and truthfully out to sea. There wasn't any facts to back it up, but Lucario held fast to the hope that Alola hadn't been touched. It was then that something truly world shattering happened.

At that point HE had still been with them, Geek had, although he was, not himself. He was bitter, and kept swearing out that he would fix this. It was something that scared Volt to say the least. Geek, his old friend who had been with him through thick and thin, was slowly just going off the deep end. It was at the boat that Geek snapped. At first it was subtle. He just, kind of stalled when he was going to get on. Then he just turned and started blatantly walking away. Volt tried stopping him but, at that point it was too late. He was gone.

Volt reached over and felt his arm, where a searing black burn mark was obvious on the yellow fur around it. The memory of the fight was, painful.

After that, everyone else went to Alola. Ironically, as soon as they got to Alola, seeing that it was untouched and peaceful, Lucario snapped too. Although it was less of a passion to fix things and more of a snap under the pressure and stress of everything. Lucario was out at one of the towns with Gallade now. Gallade was still apart of the Explorers, but he wasn't a frequent. Greninja was out doing her own thing at this point. No one knew where she was anymore. Marowak was still in the team, but like Gallade, he wasn't a frequent. He loved to go off and do what he did best. Archeology. Victini, Moss, and Shine were really the only one's other than Volt, Wave, Tsunami, and Drew who stayed in the team. Honestly, at this point, there wasn't really any reason to have the team anymore. It was pretty pointless.

Volt rolled over in his bed in the darkness. The beaming white ball of light outside casted not only its glow, but the weak glow of the stars around it too. Volt heard Drew's snoring from the bed across the room, which seemed to be the only noise in the dark bedroom. Drew had been a real friend since the arrival at Alola. Considering the fact that they were all humans, they should have become friends sooner, but it wasn't really until Geek left that Volt realized he needed a close friend. Drew filled the role almost to a T. Drew was friendly, almost always hungry, and excited. Energetic made him even more fun. Volt rolled over again, coming face to face with Moss.

Moss was a good friend too, although he was a little on edge. Ever since they had arrived, Geek had gone nuts, Lucario had gone off the deep end, and Moss' old friend Auroras, another Riolu, had also gone a little crazy. Moss was, understandably, suspicious. Two Riolus and a Lucario all going nuts at the same time, and the fact that they hadn't seen another one of that species since the battle? That was just a little too convenient for Moss. Honestly, Volt had to agree, but it didn't concern him as much as it did Moss. It was, odd, really, having Moss with them. Although, Volt couldn't complain. Volt rolled once again, this time on his back.

He was restless. He needed sleep, but he couldn't get any. He decided to sleep somewhere else. Maybe Drew's snoring was the issue.
