Moss and Drew both shivered as they moved along, arms wrapped around each other. Drew's tail was doing nothing to keep them warm, and they were gaining almost no ground in this cold snow and wind. The pure white of this area made the green and orange Pokemon seem like beacons in the land. Wave and Tsunami were close behind the two, both shivering as well. Their breath was easily visible, and the group was slowly getting more and more frozen. Everyone kept pushing. They needed to get to the beachfront. It was one of the only places on the Mainland that was actually normal in all this chaos. Drew held up his tail to his hands and tried warming them.

The tail flickered a bit, and Drew felt a huge drop in stamina and energy. He paused and let Tsunami and Wave catch up to him. The three kept walking, allowing Moss to lead the way. They were in the thickest part of the forest now, and there was no turning back at this point. That was, if they weren't already going in circles. It certainly felt that way.

"You okay Drew?" Wave quakily asked through his teeth.

"My tail is... going out..." Drew mumbled in return.

"Moss!" Wave shouted ahead.

Moss paused and turned, then waited for everyone to catch up.

"Drew need's a cave or something! He's not doing well out here!" Wave had to shout over the wind.

"I wish I could find one but it's just flat land with trees out here!" Moss replied.

"Hello!?" Someone shouted in the distance.

Everyone paused and looked around, trying to find where the voice had come from. It was so loud because of the wind that they couldn't tell where or who had said it.

"Hello!?" The voice asked again.

Drew focused in and found the source of the voice. Volt came trudging through the snow and saw them. He started waving his arms to get their attention, which Drew helped by pointing everyone in the right direction. Everyone started moving towards him.

"Over here!" Volt motioned as he helped them each move by.

They emerged from the trees and came to a cliff's edge. Far beyond them the Extinction Zone, the lava, rock, and mountains signalling that perfectly. Just at the bottom of the cliff, however, was what Drew and the others marveled at. It was a huge, miles upon miles long beach front. There was a massive town that stretched across the entire sandy zone, with docks, boats, and multiple shops and houses all over the place. Pokemon were busy, loading and unloading ships, building, shopping, or just talking casually. The scene reminded Drew of Alola. There were so many similarities he could draw between the two.

Volt emerged from the trees and trudged through the snow that covered the cliff's edge. He motioned for them to follow him, which they did. There was a stairway down the mountain. A big, long staircase. Drew groaned as they began descending the steps. They arrived at the bottom just a few moments later and began their slow approach to the beach front. On the cliff it seemed huge, and the distance seemed small, but on the same level as the town the story was exactly the opposite.

"Did you get the keys?" Volt asked.

"My brain still hurts," Moss grumbled as he held up the Key of Intelligence.

"My body is sore and it feels like I'm about to fall apart, but yeah," Tsunami added in as he held up the Key of Instincts.

"Good. We've got the Key of Strength at the Inn," Volt said as he continued leading them off.

"Wait, where's Geek?" Tsunami asked, suddenly realizing that he wasn't here.

"We got attacked by the ones responsible for this whole mess. They're also trying to get to Vailon, which is why we're leaving in two hours," Volt explained.
