Anniversary

It was cold and very dark except for a small light seemingly miles away. Max started walking towards it before being teleported to the junkyard. It was night time in the junkyard but her and Chloe were hiding from someone. Max heard loud and heavy footsteps walking passed them, Chloe steps out and fires a gun but she misses the figure turned around revealing his face, it was Jefferson. He took the gun from Chloe and shot her in the chest.

Chloe! Max yells shooting up in bed. She was sweating and tired.

Maxy what happened did you have another nightmare baby? Chloe asks pulling her girlfriend in into a tight hug. Max starts crying into Chloes shoulder.

Yeah, I did remember when you shot Jefferson when he was trying to find us after we escaped his lair. Yeah well instead of you hitting him you missed and he took the gun killing you. I saw your dead body hit the ground. Chloe please never leave me. Ever. Max nuzzles closer to Chloe laying her head on Chloes chest listening to her heartbeat.

I wont leave you, ever. Never ever. Chloe kisses the top of her crying girlfriends head. Its ok baby Im still here alive and kicking. Chloe kisses Max making her stop crying.

Thank you, Chloe, I love you but Im not going back to sleep so can we just lay here together for a while? Max scoots closer to Chloe closing the gap between them. Chloe puts her arms around Max placing her chi softly on top of Maxs head.

Of course, we can baby anything, for you. They spend the next hour cuddling and kissing until They can hear Victoria and Kate rummaging around in the kitchen. They reluctantly get out of bed and go and meet the couple in the kitchen.

Morning you two. Kate smiles finding the coffee pot. You dont mind if we make coffee do you? Kate holds up the coffee pot. Max shakes her head and pulls out the guest coffee bag from a drawer full of different kinds of coffees. Max hands the coffee to Kate and turns to the Keurig and fills two cups one for her and one for Chloe. The four of them sit down at the dining room table and chat and drink their coffee.

So, when do we get back to the studio? Victoria asks putting her empty coffee mug by the sink.

Sorry to say we dont work on our five-year anniversary, Chloe says wrapping her arm around Max.

Oh ok. Kate looks surprised but is remembering that yes today was the day that Chloe asked Max out five years ago. Oh yes sorry, I forgot.

Its fie Kate we arent going to do very much today so if you want us to finish the dresses today we can. Max pipes up.

Oh no its fine we can stay another day. Kate looks at Victoria who is washing the mugs.

Tomorrow is also Maxs twenty-third birthday. Chloe gives her classic shit-eating grin to Victoria who realizes what she means. Victoria takes Kates hand and hurries off out of earshot. You can hear Kate squeal in excitement, which makes Chloe laugh.

What do they know I dont? Max lightly elbows Chloe.

My plan for our birthday date tomorrow. Chloe stands taking maxs hand and lading her to their bedroom.

Oh ok. Max was slightly upset she couldnt know but it clearly made Kate happy so it will likely make her happy. Chloe shuts and locks the door and pushes Max onto the bed. She straddles Max. Their fun escalates leaving both girls tired and feeling good. They leave their room and watch movies with Kate and Victoria all day until they need to go to bed.

Night guys Kate waves as Victoria pulls her into their room and locking the door.

Chloe and Max go into their room and listen to Victoria and Kate fooling around for a while before Max falls asleep. Chloe slowly gets out of bed and opens a drawer and removes a false bottom making sure that the engagement ring she bought weeks ago was still there. She sighs happily when she sees it and lays back in bed pulling Max close and falling asleep.
