I woke up the next day with a pain in the ass. I wished it was just in the ass. My whole body was hurting. I managed to get advil pills, but- but the house changed! The stairs disappeared and there were more doors. Suddenly a deep voice called me, I turned and the whole house started to spin. I lost my balance and fell, but I didn't reach the floor. I was floating.
"Yes I'm flying" I shouted to myself before I got slapped and realized that Clay was struggling to not let me fall.
"Wait, why am I at your house?" I asked him.
"You were drunk," he said in a sing-song "and I brought you here to not let you take your own life. Plus you ranted everything out."
"Me? Drunk? Wow."
He nodded his head and went to the kitchen, I followed him."So what do I make for breakfast?" he asked.
"Breakfast?" I asked, "it's already 9AM, we're late for school, and this math test we didn't study for, ughh"
"Hold up, look out of the window" ordered Clay."Yes, what?" I said looking out of the window.
"It's snowing, there's no school today, we're still enjoying winter holiday"
"But why did you lie?"
"I just wanted to take care of you," he said, "so you stay at my home or do I stay at yours?"
"Why all this mess, I can take care of myself"
"I wanna stay with you, you, you" he said in a sing song.
"What, why?"He sighed "One it was a song lyric. Two, all of my friends are out of the country. Three, we have loads of homework"
"So, you're using me, I always knew it, everyone uses me."He spun and stared at my eyes. His gaze held many feelings, but I could resist it. I can stare at his eyes as much as I want unless I'm wrong. This time I wasn't wrong. Neither was he. We kept staring at each other till he interrupted the silence.
"So I'm making an omelette for breakfast," he said while taking some vegetables from the cupboard.I couldn't say no. I couldn't do it after seeing that ocean of tears he was holding in his eyes.
I knew he was hurting but I couldn't ask. At least not now.
Phew I'm sweating.
I changed the title and the cover cause I didn't really like 'em. And umm... you'll know later, he's not nerd at all. Hope you enjoyed Chapter Three and Four.
Chapter Five is coming this weekend.
