Chapter 3

As they entered the camp, A White Tom with Ginger spots padded up. "Hey Mapleleaf! Who are these four kits?" He asked as everyone in the clearing started to crowd around them. Why are they coming closer? Stone thought. "These kits are former kittypets. This is Night." She placed her paw on Night's head. "And this is Ziggie." She moved her paw onto Ziggie's head. "This is Scarlet." She took her paw off of Ziggie's head and moved it to the ground. She put her other paw on Scarlet's head. "The last one is Stone." She said as she moved her paw to her head. A white she-cat came up with two kits. "Mapleleaf, you said that two of them need milk. Which ones?" She asked. "Scarlet and night do. I'll go talk with Ripplestar to name them. By the way, they all have to stay in the nursery." Mapleleaf said before padding off to a den underneath a huge rock. "Cmon little kits. I'll take you to the nursery. I'm Whitefly. These are my kits, Starkit and Spottedkit." Whitefly said, padding towards a large den underneath a fallen tree. They climbed into the den and lied down and slept. I can't wait till I get to meet everyone! Stone woke up to Spottedkit poking her in the side. "Wake up Stone!" She yowled. "Im awake!" Stone meowed, stretching to wake herself up. "Cmon! Let's play!" Spottedkit said, hopping from one side to another. "Okay, but shouldn't we wait on the others to wake up?" Stone asked Spottedkit as she glanced to Night, Ziggie, and Scarlet who were sleeping peacefully. "All cats old enough to catchy their own prey join beneath the highstone for a clan meeting!" A cat from outside yowled. "Mom! Ripplestar called a clan meeting!" Spottedkit meowed. "Okay. Kits get up! There's a clan meeting!" starkit, Ziggie, Scarlet, and Night got up and came outside. "All cats here know that Mapleleaf and Tigerpelt have met and agreed to take in 4 kittypet kits. Mapleleaf has spoken with me and we have decided their names. Since Mapleleaf came up with them, than she can come up and announce them." Ripplestar said, climbing down so Mapleleaf can stand in front of the clan. "We have decided to name Stone Silverkit. Scarlet will be Dawnkit. Ziggie will be Sharpkit. Night will be Nightkit. Those are the names we have chose for them. Also, at the end of this moon, Silverkit and Sharpkit will be six moons old." Mapleleaf meowed, and then hopped off the high rock and Ripplestar hopped back on. "This clan meeting is over!" After she said that, everyone split up. "Cmon guys! Lets play!" Spottedkit meowed as she pounced on starkit. Nightkit pounced on Dawnkit and Sharpkit pounced on Silverkit. Sharpkit bit into her ear and swung her head around. "Ow! You're gonna rip my ear off!" Silverkit yowled as she pushed Sharpkit away. They both knocked to the ground, and Nightkit noticed blood. "Silverkit! You're bleeding!" She yowled. "Of course I am! Didn't you notice Sharpkit ripping my ear off?" Silverkit asked. "Cmon! I'll take you to Bluepool's den! She'll stop your bleeding!" starkit meowed urgently. As they entered the den, a blue she-cat came up. "Oh my StarClan, what happened?" Bluepool asked. "Sharpkit pounced on me, and started to tug on my ear." Silverkit explained as Bluepool put cobwebs on her ears. This place is entresting. I want to be a medicine cat!
