My Little Nightmare Before Christmas

Chapter 10

As he flew across the sky, Dusk Shine laughed gleefully while the pony monsters watching through the water in the fountain. He then flew down towards a house in Ponyville, and landed loudly on the roof. A little filly named Silver Spoon woke up, and said "Prince Solaris!" Dusk Shine went down the chimney, and went into the living room. Silver Spoon went down the stairs, and went into the living room, only to gasp in shock when she saw Dusk Shine putting the presents in the stockings, and underneath the decorated tree. Silver Spoon gently approached him as she said "Prince Solaris?" Dusk Shine looked down at the filly, and smiled as he said "Happy Hearth's Warming Eve! And what is your name?" Silver Spoon hesitated to answer, so Dusk Shine shrugged, and said "That's all right. I have a special present for you, anyway." He gave Silver Spoon a present with blue and silver wrapping paper, and a green bow on it as he said "There you go, sweetheart." He then laughed, and went up the chimney. Silver Spoon opened her present, and looked inside as her parents walked in. "And what did Prince Solaris bring you honey?" Silver Spoon's mother asked. Silver Spoon pulled out a shrunken pony head, and her parents screamed in terror as they fainted. Dusk Shine took off as he said "Happy Hearth's Warming Eve!"

At the police station in Canterlot, a phone rang on the pony cop's desk. He answered the phone as he said "Hello, police." He then heard frantic yelling and screaming as he said "Attacked by Hearth's Warming Eve toys? That's strange. That's the second toy complaint we had." Dusk Shine laughed as he flew in the air, and landed on a roof of an old mare's house. He used his magic to place the wreath on the door inside the house, and then took off. The wreath then came to life, and started to grow tenticles. Dusk Shine went to another house, and placed the giant snake undernearth a silver tree. He went into another house, and placed a vampire fruit bat pony toy, and a killer duck toy. He then took off. A filly and a colt went into the living room, and gasped in delight to see presents. The filly picked up the vampire fruit bat pony toy, and the colt started playing with the killer duck toy. Suddenly, the toys came to life as the filly and colt screamed in terror. They ran for their lives as the toys chased after them. The filly and colt ran into their parents's bedroom, and locked the door as they screamed, waking their parents up in the process.

Dusk Shine went from house to house, and dropped the presents through the chimneys, and one by one, the ponies in the houses were screaming in terror. Two fillies screamed when a group of vampire fruit bats in a tree flew around their house. The old mare screamed in terror when the wreath monster raised its tenticles at her. A colt screamed when the snake started eating his tree. A filly ran for her life as a laughing jack-in-a-box chased after her. Everypony then started locking their doors and windows as Dusk Shine said "You're welcome one and all!" At the police station in Canterlot, the pony police officer was answering many calls as he said "Where'd you spot him? Fast as we can, madam. Police. I know. I know. A pony skellington. Keep calm. Turn off all the lights. Make sure the doors are locked. Hello, police." In a news room, a pegasai pony named Lucy Packard was reading a news report as she said "Reports are pouring in from all over Equestria that an imposter is shamelessly impersonating Prince Solaris, mocking and mangling this joyous holiday." In Nightmare Night Town, the pony monsters cheered when they thought Lucy Packard said that Dusk Shine is doing a great job. Twilight Sparkle began to feel concerned as the pony news reporter said "Pony police assure us that this moment, pony military units are mobilizing to stop the perpetrator of this heinous crime."

Twilight Sparkle gasped, and muttered "Dusk Shine. Somepony had to help Dusk Shine." As the pony monsters cheered, Twilight Sparkle looked around, and said "Where did the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters take Prince Solaris?!" As she ran off, Lucy Packard said "Prince Solaris, wherever you are, come back and save Hearth's Warming Eve!" As Dusk Shine flew over the pony military unit a few miles away from Appleloosa, he looked down at the search lights below him as he said "Look Winona! Search lights!" The pony soldiers started firing the cannons at Dusk Shine as he said "They're celebrating! They're thanking us for doing such a good job!" One of the cannons almost hit Winona as Dusk Shine said "Whoa, careful down there, you almost hit us!" Winona barked as Dusk Shine said "It's ok, Winona! Head higher!" Winona nodded as they went up, and hid in the clouds.
