After Prince Solaris had left the lair, Twilight Sparkle went up to Dusk Shine, and said "He'll fix things, Dusk Shine. He knows what to do." Dusk Shine looked at Twilight Sparkle as he said "How did you get down here?" Twilight Sparkle blushed a bright cherry red color as she trotted her hoof, and said "Oh, I was trying to...well, I wanted to...to..." "To help me?" Dusk Shine asked. "I couldn't just let you just..." Twilight Sparkle tried to say, but her words trailed off. Dusk Shine touched Twilight Sparkle's cheek with his hoof as she held onto his other hoof, and he said "Twilight, I can't believe I never realized...that you-." His sentence was cut off when a spotlight shined on the pony monster couple, and they looked up to see Mayor Mare who said "Dusk Shine, Dusk Shine!" "Here he is!" Scootaloo said. "Alive!" Apple Bloom said. "Just like we said!" Sweetie Belle said. Mayor Mare tossed a rope down as she said "Grab a hold, my colt!" Dusk Shine and Twilight Sparkle held onto the rope, and Mayor Mare pulled them up as they said "Whoa!"

As Prince Solaris replaced the bad gifts with the good gifts, Lucy Packard read the news report, and said "Good news, everypony! Prince Solaris, the one and only has finally been spotted. The prince of Hearth's Warming Eve appears to be traveling at supersonic speed. He setting things right, bringing joy and cheer wherever he goes. Yes, everypony, Prince Solaris has pulled it out of the bag, and delivered Hearth's Warming Eve to excited ponies all over Equestria!" Back in Nightmare Night Town, the pony monsters were sleeping when they heard the sound of a honking horn. They woke up to see Dusk Shine, Twilight Sparkle, Mayor Mare, and the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters riding in a carriage. They cheered as they got out of the carriage. Dusk Shine went up the stairs of building where they had the town meeting, looked at the pony monsters, and said "It's great to be home!" Suddenly, the snow started to fall, and Dusk Shine looked up to see Prince Solaris flying by in his sleigh as he said "Happy Nightmare Night!" "Happy Hearth's Warming Eve!" Dusk Shine said as he waved. The pony monsters were surprised by the snow, and they started to play in it. Some of them played horse ice hockey, and some of them made snow angels.

Twilight Sparkle picked a flower from the snow-covered ground with her magic as Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo threw snowballs at Dusk Shine who just laughed a little, and shook it off. Just then, Abacus Cinch arrived while sitting in a wheelchair being pushed by her creation who is also her husband as he said "Careful, my precious gem. Dusk Shine then looked at Twilight Sparkle who was walking away, and he silently followed her. She then walked on the spiral hill, and sat down at the top as she started picking the petals off of the flower she picked. She then looked behind her to see Dusk Shine walking up to her as he said "My dearest friend, if you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side where we can gaze into the stars, and sit together." "Now and forever?" Twilight Sparkle asked. Dusk Shine nodded as he touched Twilight Sparkle's cheek with his hoof, and she held onto his other hoof, and he said "For it is plain as anypony can see, we are simply meant to be." They then shared a tender kiss under the full moon's glare.
