My Little Nightmare Before Christmas

In the lab at Abacus Cinch's house, the unicorn scientist was working on a new unicorn rag doll as she said "You will be a decided improvement over that treacherous Twilight Sparkle." Just then, an earth pony igor named Sugarcoat placed the plans for a reindeer skeleton on the table as she said "Mistress, the plans!" "Excellent, Sugarcoat." Abacus Cinch said as she tossed her a blueberry muffin. Later that day, the pony monsters started making preperations for Hearth's Warming Eve. They made the toys and the ramp for the sleigh to fly into the sky while Twilight Sparkle worked on the crown. Dusk Shine looked around, and was very pleased to see that everything was going according to plan." In Hearth's Warming Eve Town, the pony elves were hard at work making the toys, and preparing the sleigh. In Nightmare Night Town, the pony monsters worked on the sleigh while Abacus Cinch worked on bringing six skeleton reindeer to life. Later that night, they finished putting the sleigh together, and they put all the presents that they made, and placed it in the trash can that served as the back of the sleigh. "It's Hearth's Warming Eve time!" Dusk Shine said with glee as the six skeleton camed down, and surprised him. A few days went by, and the day to deliver presents finally approached.

In a living room in a big house, Prince Solaris was looking at the naughty and nice list of fillies and colts while his wife named Princess Celestia packed his lunch in a lunchbox. "Cotton Candy, Windy, Starshine, yes, Starshine's been nice." Prince Solaris said looking at his list. "Nice, nice, naughty, nice, nice, nice. There are hardly any naughty fillies and colts this year." Suddenly, the door bell that rang to the song Jingle Bells rang out, and he said "Now who could that be?" He got up from his seat, and went up to the door. He opened it, and looked down to see Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo holding a black bag with orange jack-o-lanterns on them as they said "Trick or treat!" "Huh?" Prince Solaris asked. But, before he had a chance to react, the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters jumped up on him, and stuffed him in the back. They then closed it, and they headed back to their home.

-Meanwhile in Nightmare Night Town-

Twilight Sparkle had finished putting the finishing touches to the Hearth's Warming Eve crown while Dusk Shine looked at himself in the mirror. "You don't look like yourself, Dusk Shine." Twilight Sparkle said as she placed the crown on Dusk Shine's head. "Not at all." "Isn't that wonderful?" Dusk Shine asked with a smile. "It couldn't be more wonderful!" Twilight Sparkle showed Dusk Shine a picture of himself as the prince of Nightmare Night as she said "But you're the pumpkin prince!" "Not anymore!" Dusk Shine said as he tore the picture in half. "And I feel so much better now!" "Dusk Shine, I know you think something is missing." Twilight Sparkle said. "But-." She stopped talking when she accidently stepped on Dusk Shine's hoof when she got closer to him, and he said "Ow!" "Sorry!" Twilight Sparkle said quickly. Dusk Shine thought for a minute, and said "You're right! Something is missing, but what?" Just then, the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters arrived, and said "Dusk Shine, Dusk Shine, this time we bagged him!" "This time we really did!" Apple Bloom said. "He sure is big, Dusk Shine." Scootaloo said. "And heavy!" Sweetie Belle said as she opened the bag. Prince Solaris popped out of the bag as he said "Let me out!" The pony monsters gasped in shock and awe as Dusk Shine went up to Prince Solaris, and said "Prince Solaris for real! What a pleasure to meet you!" He shook his hoof in delight.

Prince Solaris looked around in awe as he said "Where am I?" "Surprised, aren't you? I knew you would be. You don't need to have another worry about Hearth's Warming Eve this year." Dusk Shine said. "What?" Prince Solaris asked in awe. "Consider this a vacation, Prince Solaris. A reward." Dusk Shine said. "It's your turn to take it easy." "But there must be some mistake!" Prince Solaris said. "See that he's comfortable." Dusk Shine said. Before the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters stuff Prince Solaris back into the bag, Dusk Shine stopped them as he said "Just a second, little fillies!" He spotted a collar with the Elements of Harmony on it, and said "Of course! That's what I'm missing!" He took the collar from Prince Solaris, and said "Thanks!" "But, you can't-!" Prince Solaris tried to say, but the cutie mark crusader trick-or-treaters stuffed him back in the back. As they started heading to their treehouse, Prince Solaris said "Hold on! Where are we going now?" As Dusk Shine practiced his greeting to the fillies and colts, Twilight Sparkle began to worry as she said "This is worse than I thought! Much worse!" She then had an idea as she said "I know!" She then headed off to Abacus Cinch's house.
