Kuroko's POV:
A new school year has started and the club fair is in full swing. We got a few promising players to join our team but I still haven't spotted anyone that resembles any of Kagami's power. I had no clue what I was looking for but I knew that the moment I found out what it was, the situation would become so much clearer.
To be honest, I didn't want to replace Kagami. We had just began working like a well oiled machine and had gained trust on catastrophically enormous levels. Like Aomine, after so much time working together, we began to rely on the trust of one another. It would be impossible to reach it with any of the 1st years considering I had no time to gain their trust without promising results in my own plays nor was I willing to waste the little time I had to improve on doing so.
At this point in time, my relationship with the rest of my team from Teiko was at it's peak. We often played together and tried to make up for the time we had wasted playing to win instead of playing as a team and started having fun. Aomine and I started rebuilding our friendship. After so many years of playing together on a daily basis, It wasn't hard to do so and we quickly fell back into our original pattern. Our friendship came back to us as naturally as breathing. It took me by surprise but I was glad to see Aomine playing with a smile on his face with me right beside him, just like the old days at Teiko.
