The day after the practice game with Kaijo, I spend my lunch at the library. I usually spend it with Aomine but since I wasn't able to study yesterday, I thought that lunch would be the perfect time to do so. Since the day I got the opportunity to join the NBA last year, I've been trying to learn English. That way, when I'd move there to start my basketball career, I could speak the language. I spent every day I can, studying in order to do so. "Hey Tetsu." I hear as Aomine slides into the seat in front of me. "Whatchya doing?" He asks as I look up from my textbook. "Eating Chocolate." I respond in the same tone. "Where'dya get it?" He continues with a grin. "A doggy dropped it." I finish with a grin of my own. We laugh. "No really, what are you doing?" Aomine asks once we calm down. The librarian gives us a dirty look. "Learning English." I answer. "Cool. Why?" Aomine wonders. "'Cause I'm gonna be in the NBA next year. You know, you're trying to get scouted remember?" I explain. "Right." He says. "I forgot." "No duh." I deadpan. "What does that mean!" Aomine exclaims. The librarian hushes us. I laugh quietly in response. "Do you want to learn together?" I ask. "Sure. Why not?" He replies. "You are right about the fact that It'll be useful once we get into the NBA. I nod. "You can come over to my house after practice then." I say. "Really?" Aomine asks incredulously. "Yeah. Why not?" I ask bewildered. "It's just, no one's actually been there." He explains. "Oh." I say. "I never though about it. The opportunity never came up." I shrug. "Then it's settled. You'll come to my house after practice each day and we'll learn English. Deal?" "Deal." Aomine replies with a nod and the two of us head to the cafeteria to get lunch.
