Chapter 6: (Kuroko)

I jump down from the tree where I was observing and follow Aomine silently through the crowd, slipping through completely unnoticed. He steps up to our booth and whispers something to Riko and slips her a paper. It looks like a form. My suspicions strengthen. "Thanks Coach!" I hear him yell. I quickly slip behind her. He knows I'm following him. That "show" at the end proves it. He's letting me know that he wants to meet. I peek over Riko's shoulder and freeze as soon as I see Aomine's form. It's a transfer form from Too's basketball club to our's. It takes me a minute to recover and process things. I decide not to ask Riko where Aomine is. Though I'm sure he told her. Concidering the news, he'd want to tell me in the most comfortable setting and concidering basketball is one of the only things we can agree on it's obvious he'll be in the gym. I'm in no hurry as I head towards the gym. My mind turns trying to figure out what he's up to and when I come up empty. I feel comforted and settle on the fact that he wanted a clean slate with his team. I slip into the gym unoticed by Aomine. It's one of the first times this actually happened. Considering how attuned we are to each other, or were at least. I spend a few minutes observing when I decide it's tine to intervene. I slip into the court and steal the ball before it leaves his hands and dissapear, only to appear on the other side of the court. I shoot a phantom shot and turn towards Aomine. My face relays no emotion but I'm smirking on the inside at the shock clearly written on his face. I cannot contain the laughter bubbling in my chest. Instead, I have a small smile playing on my lips. "Holy Shit" he gasps, " How did you do that?".
