Chapter Five

Friday Morning
{Dean's POV}

   My alarm went off at 6:45 a.m. I turned towards it and turned it off. Ah, it's finally Friday. I survived a week of school. Maybe it's because I have Cas to distract me. I smiled, thinking about Cas. I got out of bed and got dressed. Since it's Friday, I'll make pancakes for breakfast. I got everything I needed from the cabinets and started making breakfast.

   "Morning Dean." I heard Sammy say.

   "Morning Sammy. I'm making some pancakes." I turned and smiled at him.

   "You're in a good mood today. What has got you so happy this early in the morning?" He asked sitting down by the counter.

   "It's Friday dude. Why else would I be happy?" I put two pancakes on a plate and handed it to Sam.

   "Well I thought the reason was Castiel." He smirked.

   I almost dropped everything, "W...why would you say that?" I turned to face him.

   "Because you always talk about him and I see you two at lunch every day. You look at him like he's the only one around."

   "I don't know what you're talking about. We're just friends. Just eat your damn breakfast." I turned back around and I felt my cheeks heat up.

{Castiel's POV}

   "It's Friday!" Gabriel yelled, jumping on my bed.

   "What are you doing? Get off!" I threw my pillow at him and hit him in the stomach.

   He rubbed his stomach and threw the pillow back at me, "Get up! It's finally Friday! Don't you want to see Dean?" He smiled and jumped off the bed.

   "Shh! Shut up." I got out of bed and pushed Gabe out of my room. I closed the door and locked it.

   Well, he was right. I do want to see Dean. These past few days, we've gotten closer. To be honest, the small crush I thought would go away turned into a head over heels kind of crush. I smiled and started getting dressed. I pulled on my trench coat and walked downstairs. I looked around and only saw Gabriel.

   "Where is everyone?" I asked.

   "Anna left early with some friends, Michael had a job interview this morning, and of course dad is at work." Gabe unwrapped a candy bar.

   "Isn't it a little early to be eating candy?" I grabbed the candy bar away from him.

   "It's never too early for candy." He snatched it back and took a bite out of it.

   "So, we have to walk to school?" I sat down next to him.

   "Yeah." He shrugged.

   I pulled out my phone and texted Dean.

   Hey Dean, I was wondering if my brother and I could catch a ride to school? - CN

   Of course. I'll be there in 5 minutes :) - DW

   "I got us a ride to school." I smiled at Gabriel.

   "From your boyfriend?" He smirked

   "Shut up. Don't say anything all the way to school. Anything that comes out of your mouth is meant to embaress me." I got up and grabbed a granola bar from the cabinet.

   "Yeah yeah. I'll be quiet. I'll be busy talking to Sam anyway." He smiled.

   I sat back down, "So, you and Sam have been talking a lot. Do you like him?" I smiled and nudged him.
