((I'm very sorry for the long wait. So much crap has happened recently. My dad ended up in the hospital and I'm taking care of everything in the house since my mom is disabled. I have been so busy. But, I managed to write this crappy chapter. I hope you guys like this. It was kinda rushed. If you can see the picture, you can comment any of those and I'll answer.))

It's been a couple of weeks since Dean left. John is still nowhere to be found. Bobby and Dean are still tracking him, but no dice.

Everything is going normal for Cas, except for the fact that he misses Dean like crazy. He still goes to school and work at Harvelle's.

They still talk on the phone or FaceTime, usually before bed. On weekends is when they stay up late talking for hours.

Friday Evening (April 10)
{Castiel's POV}

I stretched my back after putting my money in my pocket. Ellen was already closing the bar. Jo was putting glasses away behind the bar.

"Heading home, Cas?" Jo asked.

"Yeah." I sighed. "I have some homework to finish. I'm just going to get Gabe and make sure Sam is okay."

Jo smiled. "Okay."

I walked to the back and knocked on Sam's open door. Gabe and Sam were laying side by side on his bed, doing homework. They looked over at me.

"Hey, Cas." Sam waved. "You can come in."

I walked in. "Are you ready to leave? I have some homework to catch up on."

"Yeah." Gabe sat up, gathering his things.

"What were you two working on?" I asked, sitting next to Sam.

"Some algebra. Our teacher is a bit of a tough grader." Sam answered.

"If you ever need help, I'm really good at algebra." I offered.

"Hey, Cassie. Can Sam and I go to the mall tomorrow?" Gabe chimed in, throwing his backpack over his shoulder.

I nodded. "Sure, but I have to babysit Hael tomorrow night."

"We won't stay out very long. We just want to hang out for a bit." Gabe shrugged.

"Okay. I'll drive you." I smiled. "Um, why don't you wait for me by the entrance. Ask Jo if she will share some of her candy with you. She just bought some chocolate."

"Okay. Bye, Samoose." Gabe hugged Sam. "I'll call you tomorrow."

"Bye, Gabe." Sam pecked Gabe on the lips before pulling away.

Gabe walked out, waving at Sam. I turned back to look at him.

"How are you doing, Sam?" I queried.

"I'm fine. I kinda miss Dean. We've never been apart for this long. We've always been together." Sam looked down at his hands.

"I'm sorry." I rubbed his arm. "Have you talked to him?"

He nodded. "He called yesterday to see how I was doing. I felt a little better. He kept apologizing for leaving me, but I told him it wasn't his fault. I just want him to find our dad."

"He will." I gave him a reassuring smile. "You know, if you need someone to talk to, I'm always here for you, Sam. I might not be Dean, but I hope you at least see me as a big brother."

"I do. You are like a big brother to me, Cas." He smiled. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I hugged him. "I'll see you tomorrow."
