Tuesday Morning
{Castiel's POV}

I was glad that Anna drove us to school instead of Michael. I tried my best to avoid Michael the whole morning. I got to class and sat in my seat. Dean wasn't there yet.

"Morning Cas." Balthazar greeted as he sat behind me.

   "Good morning Balthazar." I smiled.

"Hey Cas, I was wondering if you could help me with my homework?" He pulled out a few papers.

"Of course." I turned to face him.

I helped Balthazar until the bell rang. Dean still wasn't here. I furrowed my brow and checked my phone. I texted Dean.

Dean, are you okay? You're never late to school. - CN

"Castiel, put the phone away." Ms. Mills' voice made me jump.

"Sorry." I put my phone back in my pocket.

All I could think about the entire class was Dean getting in trouble with his dad.

   "You okay, Cas?" Balthazar whispered.

   "I'm fine." I forced a smile.

-----

Balthazar and I walked to lunch. I've been trying to call and text Dean all day, I haven't gotten a reply to either. I sat down and sighed.

"Hey Cas. Where's your boyfriend?" Charlie asked.

"I don't know. I've been calling him, but it goes straight to voicemail." I looked down at my hands.

"Did you guys get in a fight?" Charlie put her hand on my shoulder.

"Kind of. We almost broke up, but we were fine. We made up. I don't know why he's not answering." I looked up. "I have this feeling that something is wrong."

"I'm sure he's fine, Cas. Dean is a tough dude." Benny added.

"Yeah, but his tough act gets him into trouble." I messed with the bottom of my sweater.

"Getting suspended for fighting is a great example of that." Charlie breathed a laugh.

"Exactly. I guess the saying 'opposites attract' is true. Dean and I have very different personalities." I smiled a little.

My phone started vibrating. I pulled it out quickly. Dean's name flashed on the screen. I breathed a sigh of relief and excused myself. I went somewhere private.

   I answered the phone. "Dean."

   "Cas." Dean's voice sounded shaky.

   "What's wrong? Where are you?"

"My dad is making us move back to South Dakota and live with Bobby." He sniffed.

"What?" My eyes started tearing up. "You can't move."

"I know, babe. I'm going to do whatever it takes to stay here."

My legs felt like they were going to give out. I slide down the wall and started crying.

"Please don't move. Please." I hugged my knees.

"Don't cry." He said softly. "I promised I wasn't going to leave you. I keep my promises."

I smiled a little. "I know you do."

"After school, I'll go to your house. Okay? You call in sick to work and we'll spend time together."
