Tia.

I tore my eyes away from my laptop from where I was watching Love and Hip Hop and glanced down at my phone besides me on my bed, which was ringing. My heart sped up when Theo's name popped up. When we exchanged numbers, I didn't expect him to actually call.

"Hello?" I quickly picked up.

"Yeah, you alright?"

My eyes instantly closed at the sound of his voice. I swear I could just melt. I couldn't hold back my smile as I played with my necklace. "Yeah, I'm good. You?"

"I'm alright. Erm, you know when I was at your house?"

"Yeah?" my smile widened. How could I forget?

"Did you answer my phone?"

I froze for or moment trying to think. "Um, I think so?"

"You think or you know?"

I didn't want to piss him off so I decided to be honest, "I know."

He sighed and the line went quiet for a moment, "Why?"

"I'm sorry. You were in the toilet and it was right next to me ringing so I just told the person that you would call back," I replied not really seeing that it was a big deal at the time.

"It was Tiffany," he said.

I frowned, "Your girlfriend?" That sentence felt so foreign to me..

"Yeah."

"Oh," I pulled a face.

"Alright, next time don't answer my phone, yeah?"

"Next time?" I couldn't help myself. I knew that he could hear the smile in my voice.

He laughed a little and it was like music to my ears, "Bye, T."

"Bye," I smiled before we both locked off.

Tiffany

The cool yet warm air's breeze hit me as I signed out of work and made my way to the large car park. Natalie didn't come in today but surprisingly the shift wasn't as bad as I thought it would be without her. Kyle, the white boy that I had met on my first day was working at the same venue which was a nice surprise because it had been a while since I had seen him or Josie.

I had received a text from Adrian a few minutes ago telling me that he was waiting for me outside. My eyes glanced around as I scanned my surroundings, my steps slowing down. I heard a car beep and my head snapped to the right to see the shiny, black Mercedes pull up ahead of me. I arched a brow as I approached the car, surprised that he was still 'burrowing' it. Something within me told me that he didn't just work at Waitrose.

I had learned my lesson with Show and Event and now brought spare clothes in my bag to change into because I could not be rocking this bright orange shirt anymore - even if I was getting picked up. I had changed into my black high waisted skinny jeans and a white t-shirt which said 'Coco Made Me Do It' tucked into it. It was quite sunny today so I flung my jacket over my arm. I opened the door and slid in, placing my bag down at my Converses. I glanced over at Adrian and gave him a small smile still not sure about him. He was watching me.

From the glance I stole, I saw that he was in uniform. He fit his black fleece with the bright green imprint of 'Waitrose' quite snug and I could just about see his green tie. He slyly looked good in it.
