Milena glanced out of the helicopter windows as the pilot neared the landing pad. Many people ranging from agents carrying all the work that they could, to families with children still clad in pyjamas were rushing to evacuate the facility quickly.
The helicopter landed and Milena along with agent Hill and director Fury climbed out, where agent Coulson was waiting for them.
"How bad is it?" Fury asked
Coulson took off his glasses, which made Milena wonder why he was wearing them in the first place "That's the problem sir, we don't know."

Coulson led the three through the New Mexico facility down to where they were studying the Tesseract. As they walked they passed even more scientists and agents evacuating.
"Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Teseract four hours ago." Coulson said as they walked down a corridor
"NASA didn't authorize Selvig to authorize test phase." Fury said
"He wasn't testing it, he wasn't even in the room...Spontaneous event."
Milena's eyes widened in surprise "It just turned itself on?"
Both men ignored her "what are the energy levels now?" Fury asked
"Climbing. When Selvig couldn't shut it down we ordered evac."
"How long to get everyone out?"
"Campus should be clear in the next half-hour."
"Do better."
Coulson nodded, turned around, and walked away from the trio.

"Sir, evacuation may be futile." Milena said as they made their way down the stairs leading to the lab
"We should tell them to go back to sleep?" Fury retorted.
"If we can't control the Tesseract's energy, we might not have a minimum safe distance."
They made it to the entrance of the lab before Fury turned to both agents, "Hill, I need you to make sure all phase 2 prototypes are shipped out."
"Sir, is that really a priority right now?" She asked.
"Until such time as the world ends, we will act as it intends to spin on. Clear out the tech below. Every piece of phase 2 on a truck and gone."
"Yes sir," she responded stiffly "With me." She said to the two agents standing at the entrance.
Fury and Milena walked into the lab "Talk to me doctor" Fury's voice echoed in such a large room.
