The sound of metal clashing with flashes of bright light filled the training grounds of Asgard's palace. Panting harshly with a sword gripped in one hand and a shield in the other. Milena yet out a small yell and charged towards the man she was sparring against, his name was Calder and had agreed to help Milena train.

Their swords clashed again, both of them grunting as they pushed against each other. They both jumped back before charging again.

A group of Asgardian soldiers watched in awe as they watched the two train, the flashes of energy coming from the Asgardian weapons, nearly blinding. Although the battle seemed matched, Calder had years upon, years of experience. The moment he got the chance, he knocked the sword out of Milena's hand, swooped her legs underneath her when she was distracted, effectively knocking her onto her back, and pointed his sword at her.

They were still for a moment, before Calder smiled softly. "Well done Lady Milena" He said as he sheathed his sword, "but you still have a lot of work to do."

Milena sighed and grabbed the hand that Calder offered to her, she stood up with a small groan, but smiled up at him.

"Go to the healers. You'll need your energy when you are training with the queen." Calder commanded.

Milena picked up her sword and placed it where the others were held, she thanked Calder for the training and made her way into the palace. As she walked through the halls to looked out towards the city and thought about how much her life has changed within a span of what she thought was a couple months.

Asgard seemed like a place that only appeared in Milena's dreams. A city of gold with a giant palace towering over it. The technology seemed strange to her, they had giant battle ships that flew without an engine, but still sent messages to distant places using ravens. Asgard was a strange yet beautiful mix of new and old technology.

When Milena first arrived in Asgard, Odin was opposed to having a mortal on Asgard, saying that earth was where she belonged. But Thor continued to try and persuade him, telling Odin about the powers Milena possesses, Frigga was fascinated by Thor's description of her powers and agreed to help her. Odin was still reluctant, but didn't want to face the wrath of his wife, and allowed Milena to stay on Asgard as long as she didn't cause any trouble.

She was forever grateful to Thor for the opportunity and didn't regret her choice at all. While Thor helped restore balance to the nine realms with the help of the Warriors Three and Sif, she would stay in Asgard and train. When it came to combat, Milena easily took the knowledge in, after training with SHIELD for years this was something she was used to. But fighting with a sword instead of guns was a new experience. But after many sessions the sword became her new favourite weapon.

However Milena was still somewhat uncomfortable and wearing armour. She was used to her tight fit SHIELD catsuit with a minimalistic design. Even if the metal of her chest plate was forged to perfection and even if she liked the cape. She wasn't used to the extra weight it had.
